Sorry for the lack of big tricks. Been battling an ankle injury this last year, yet I am still very hungry to grow and progress. Hence the title "Crippled Avengers". I haven't really been focusing so much on transitions this year, just incorporating more unorthodox kicking and playing style. I am not anywhere where I want to be right now but I thought it would be good to at least upload something to keep track of my progress.

This is one of the freshest samplers that came out this year! A lot of really interesting mixes of traditional martial art techniques with new school flavor. The mixture of soft style hand movements, the Wing Chun - bong sao, lap sao, etc....this is the direction Tricking should of gone 6 years ago, but the community was too hungry for increasing acrobatic skill. The community has always struggled with keeping things balanced since 2004. When you initially have a community filled with people of a particular interest (i.e. martial artist), and they become interested in acrobatic movement...the kicks are awesome, but not seen as impressive because everyone can do them. So that creates a situation where the more acrobatic movements become over-valued. Then you eventually have a new generation of people who come into the community. People who aren't familiar with the martial arts, but have a predisposition to acrobatic movement, and it gives them the capability to gain much clout and recognition for being able to do these really crazy moves; despite not being able to do the other things very well. Now both have a vested interest in pushing the acrobatic boundary, cause that's where the hype is presently at. So the more deliberate martial art movements tend to get neglected, or are just practiced by very few. What I find annoying, is that people will assume something to be easy because it doesn't look like much. But those people never actually try it, to find out how hard it is. They have their dial pushed up so high in their preference, that they can't hear or appreciate anything that doesn't contribute to their bias. This is a really good sampler, and an example of true skill. A person who is skillful, won't need high-level moves; they can win with basics.

Wow your awesome Andy! And thank you. For the inspection practicing each day. I've been doing it for years. Since I was 13. I'm 38 now and still going strong. This way if life changes you. It changes the way you think, the way of life, the way you work and the way you think about the abundance of problems that comes sometimes in life. I've applied it to my life and work. And I've come growing and learning in my line of work. And where life has taken me. I always applied the mentally of the ability to choose, create, and keep building up. The strongest foundation for life and, work and, the art of fist way, karate, judo, jujitsu, kenpo, Chinese boxing and, Muay Thai. Morover, I restore, paint and, restore, build hot rods, old cars, and lowriders. And now I've though it to my son. Who works along side me. And, I can tell the difference in him. His mentally is beyond his age. For a 15 year old. It is just the two of us and sometimes his auntie. We are proud of him. He is now schooling for Marshal arts and college. Marshal arts it's a tool for life. All age's and, walks of life.
