Why is it not possible to prosecute an artist for what they confess in a song? Singing invalidates confession? The singer can just say 'I'm not confessing anything... it's all or mostly fiction'. I don't see any connection with free speech.

I totally get that the first amendment allows a person to confess to crimes in a song or a book or even a painting but not sure I see why it should somehow protect them from prosecution for the crimes they are bragging about. Prosecuting them doesn’t interfere with their bragging, and I say they should expect repercussions if they confess to a crime even if it’s as part of artistic endeavor.

As they state immediately afterwards it's racist to put a black person in jail even if they brag about committing a crime and use that bragging right to make money and fame
@woodchuck0033 ай бұрын
I think it has to do with the 5th Amendment and the fact that 99% of the time when people talk about murdering someone in a song it is fictional. I am more curious about how the trial is plagued with racism when this case was brought by a black prosecutor and it has a black judge. The more important question is would Fani Willis have even pushed this prosecution if she wasn't also trying to prosecute Trump with a similarly novel interpretation of RICO? The Young Thug trail appears to be set to go on for another 2 years but I think initially Willis was hoping this case would set precedence to make it easier to convict Trump.

But wasn't this always the way; Bowie was a notorious killer along with Adam Ant and Simon LeBon, natural born killers all, right??? NO, this is a direct result of over forty years of excusing murder and mayhem in poor communities and a glorification of that lifestyle at the cost of decent people in the same communities, the communities that begged for more police presence in their neighborhoods.

I am sorry if you are pushing falehoods and demonizing people who you disagree with. Being a Republican i hve been called stupid and racist. @@nedhill1242 Serial forwards lies and misinformation put out by the Innocence Project, ironically they make claims the contradict the DNA evidence, the thing the Innocence Project is famous for champing. Rabbit hole is about the debunked idea that watching KZbin leads you down the far-right rabbit hole. They highlighted Joe Rogan, its strange the licked him as the far-right leader when at the time he was still advocating for Bernie Sanders in 2020. They mention the problems with Caliphate in the video, basically they did a podcast series on people, from the west, who joined ISIS. The main person they follow in the series lied about joining ISIS.

*2 of 2. This is how you always need to vote:* We must fully resist and _always vote_ against (& less authoritarian than) both the Democratic *and* Republican Parties- including Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy, Rand Paul (He’s _no_ Ron Paul), Thomas Massie, Warren Davidson, Ron Johnson, and all other Republicans. Vote in every single election- at all levels. And also _endorse or anti-endorse,_ in all elections you can, for outside your voting jurisdiction. For _all_ public positions. And this same strategy applies against the same one or more party-monopolies in _all_ countries worldwide. Real libertarians will never be Republicans or Republican loyalists. Never vote for _any_ Democratic member or loyalist either. If no candidates for a position fit that bill: -Where _write-ins_ are permissible, always write-in an anti-authoritarian person; -Where write-ins aren’t permissible, always vote uncommitted or leave the ballot blank. This will continuously reduce the power of _all_ authoritarian parties in the party monopolies. Until our task is complete. Repeat strategy for all new authoritarian parties that emerge.

Then the Libertaraisn Party needs to stop nominating the most "whack-a-doo" or "milk toast, really just a failed Republican" candidates. Think of it like Steve Jobs. Before he only wore his turtlenecks, he knew he needed to put on the suits & ties to show people that he could sell himself to others. When we have candidates come out on stage & only talk about sex, drugs, & telling the Government to "f***-off," we just look like maniacs & NO ONE takes us seriously. We just get co-opted by the Progressives who want THEIR freedoms but give others their TYRANNY. That's why I have a hard time talking to people about Libertarianism. I spend more time trying to apologize for their reckless behavior instead of selling them the full picture. For example, when talking to fellow conservatives, I never get a chance to explain how Libertarianism is about personal accountability & private charity because they're too busy worried about people getting drunk & driving or, well, San Fransisco. Those on the liberal end enjoy seeing the freedoms, but they don't use holding each other accountable, so we end up getting a lot of Left-leaning Progressives who just are looking for an excuse to be a leech on society in the name of "freedom" the ignore us about accountability so they can infiltrate us, shielded behind the whole, "We believe in FREEDOM, man!," when they DON'T want freedom because they don't want to be held to account for their choices.
