Ahhh the revered and esoteric Maggie Cutlass. She also worked at the British "Cutless Yarn Factory" in Kent circa 1962. The legendary "We Spin a Good Yarn" was coined by Maggie, and that logo was affixed to the outside of the entrance to the factory. Lots of mufflers were made from their finely spun British wool. I wonder if this was the original inspiration for "The Muffler"... No?

This was how I felt for years, every time I'd try out a pedal at my local shop. Clerk would give me a school lecture about the history of the pedal before they'd even plug it in. And then boom, no power. Be right back! They never came back. I hated being a teenage musician with no money 🤣
