This team needed a reality check. They’re still the most dangerous team in the league but they have stuff to work on. Defense has been less dominant then past few weeks. Tackle is still a problem. And Mahomes still just needs to play better. It’ll be nice to get Pacheco back soon. Hoping they can keep Travis as fresh as possible for January and then let him do his thing; they’ll need it.

The Defense has been dominant the last few weeks. The offense continues to put the defense in bad positions. Example yesterday, the offense throws a pick the first drive and gives them great field position, they score a TD. Offense refused to run the ball consistently despite that's what we have been doing all season. To start the second half they force the Bills to punt twice and the offense punts on their first two possessions. The Bills won the time of possession battle 34/26 minutes. Last week the Defense didn't allow Denver to score the entire 2nd half. Mahomes misses Kelce and Worthy on a TD. That's a completely different game if he connects on those two.

Mahomes fundamentals have regressed terribly. I think it's partly to due with the fact Bienemy is no longer there to hold the team leaders accountable. Matt Nagy is just along for the ride.

Several weaknesses were exposed today. The offensive tackles, the cornerbacks outside of McDuffie and no consistent pass rush. I see 3 more regular season losses coming our way and another tough playoff run. Not saying we can’t do it, but it’s going to be tough.

Kelce is covered a lot and is sadly not the same YAC player he was even last year. If he catches, he tends to immediately give himself up and just fall down on the spot (which is smart on his end and for his longevity - I’m not knocking him for that!). That means he’s great for short yardage and works good in zone or when the run game is going well. But right now we have to keep working on Worthy, Hopkins, and guys like Noah that are getting open past the sticks. Keep kelce healthy should be priority 1. Use him as a gravity piece to pull defenders away.

The team is not good. Pat really set the pace on that first drive with the beautiful (yet predictable) interception. Every single game this year has been within a single score (except this one) and they are unable and lack the ability to deliver any kind of "final blow" to secure a win. Yesterday's Broncos game proved this. Falcons and Broncos. Two teams the Chiefs struggled against to pull out a win. Yesterday the Broncos absolutely destroyed the Falcons. Make it make sense. It's sad to admit, but this year's team is not a "three-peat" team. Playoffs will likely be one and done if they don't get lucky and win by a literal toe.

This team looked so unbelievably uninterested in the game yesterday. I'm tired of this "oh well we can do better, the margin is small for winning." The team failed the eye test yesterday. The defense was completely lost. The offense played slow and confused. You embarrassed yourselves, but more importantly, you embarrassed your fans. Never a good look. The reason #13 Johnson led the team in tackles is because Josh through at him all night, he gets burnt time and time and time and time again. Leading the team in tackles when it’s 12 to 22 yards down field is t a good thing coach
