Alright, so yeah, the Chiefs lost. They got turnovers, the Texans missed chances and there was no reason the Chiefs should have lost. But I still stand by what I said. It just proves like every week that any team is capable of winning in the NFL and the Texans should get credit for being able to battle back ESPICALLY Deshaun Watson. The chiefs will be fine. They’ll get over this and are still a top 2 team in the AFC despite the loss. This is the NFL. There’s a reason only 2 teams have ever gone undefeated in the regular season during the super bowl era. Still love Andy Reid man. Hope you are understanding hahaha.

Genius sure. But what truly makes Andy Reid special in my eyes. As. Redskins fan of NFC east team..he is not hard headed. He will get a Qb and run a system around his Qb and offense strengths not try to force fit players. He also knows how to.balance the attack run/pass. Every one is a genius lol this days. What makes Andy Reid a Hall of famer is #1 Flexibility. #2 been a players coach yet still been hardcore and having his players respect him #3 offenses he runs usually are way way ahead of defenses in the NFL at the time.

Exactly, as a 30 year old my extreme Eagles fandom is because of Reid. No matter the personnel or eventual outcome of the season, more often than not our team was fun to watch because of Andy and his scheming capabilities that capitalized his talent. That’s why terrible QBs like Kevin Kolb, Ty Detmer, and AJ Feely got traded for super high draft picks and players in hindsight. They looked good under Reid when they couldn’t for others. So him with top tier talent is almost unstoppable if you’re the defense.

At some point he’ll have to win a Super Bowl otherwise he’ll be stuck with the negative criticism forever. All his negative criticism is warranted.
@treymagathan8475 жыл бұрын
SLaCker I fail to see how failing over things that are beyond his own control are things he should take responsibility for. Refball, Bob Sutton's utter incompetence as a defensive coordinator, and nonsensical OT rules ended the Chiefs season last year. None of those things are Andy Reid's fault. The year before, Matt Nagy took over the offensive play calling for the 2nd half. While you can argue that he shouldn't have let that happen, the play calling itself, which was why the Chiefs lost, was NOT his fault. The year before, Alex Smith's fear of throwing the ball more than 15 yards at any given moment destroyed any chance of the Chiefs beating the Steelers, even with exceptional defensive performances that held the most explosive offense in the NFL to 6 field goals. That, and a horrific case of refball on the 2 point conversion prematurely ended the Chiefs' season. The year before, that one was entirely Andy Reid's fault. His complete lack of clock management and refusal to take risks in the final minutes of the game cost the Chiefs a shot at the AFC Championship against the Broncos. But to be an optimist, should losing a close and contested game on the road to the Patriots overshadow a 30-0 victory on the road over the Texans? I didn't think so. The year before, a complete lack of urgency to make the playoffs and taking their foot off the gas looks more like a collapsing team effort than something scapegoat worthy. The year before, I don't want to even fucking talk about that game, but to keep it short and sweet, blowing a 28 point lead to the Colts is a team effort. Nobody even fucking tried, and the Chiefs got what they deserved for taking an opponent too lightly. You can blame Andy Reid for that, but everyone who had anything to do with that game should be equally blamed for it.
@BadMoonRising925 жыл бұрын
Trey Magathan whether his team losing is on some pick 6 or his defensive coordinator. Him being the head coach. He will get the majority of the blame and it will be his legacy if he doesn’t win one. Mike D’antoni and Marty shottenheimer were/are amazing coaches in their respective sports but never have/still haven’t won the big game. That’s their legacy and they ultimately got the blame for playoff failures. They’ll say “ya his offense was always crazy good and fun to watch BUT he never won anything”
@treymagathan8475 жыл бұрын
SLaCker He DID win the big game, though. Ever heard of a guy called Brett Favre, and how he went from an egotistical head case that didn't care about football to a Super Bowl champion? Yup, that was Andy Reid's doing. His West Coast offense philosophy and extensive tenure of winning at BYU got him the Offensive Coordinator job at Green Bay, and he groomed Favre into the Hall of Famer we know and love instead of going the Jeff George route of being a fucking cancer for his whole career. Granted, he hasn't won a Super Bowl as a head coach, but he has one with Green Bay. That's a legacy that can't be taken away.
@BadMoonRising925 жыл бұрын
Trey Magathan we’re talking winning as head coach dude. Not him winning a superbowl as an offensive line and tight end coach. He wasn’t even the QB coach until after they won the SB. Saying he won the big game as a line coach is reaching when he’s not directly in charge of the overall management of the team.
