ABOUT THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
Hello folks and welcome to The Chapman Family! We are Kevin (dad), Anna (mum), Lucy (age 16), Andy (age 14), Amy (age 12) and Dave (around 35 in dog years).
We're daily family vloggers with new videos out at 5pm every day UK time. We vlog about our daily lives, including life as an autism family (Andy is autistic) and lots of nerdy stuff because we just can't help ourselves!

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE CHAPMAN FAMILY
When Kevin left his full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July 2017, Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw him because he was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today we're full-time content creators and Kevin is always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. This channel is the story of my family's ongoing journey as family vloggers! Previously known as lollujo Vlogs and Kevin Chapman.

Yes your coming to Newcastle!! Would love to meet you! What to do: - go on the metro (goes both under and over ground) - Hancock, Discovery, centre of life (Museums if he likes things like that, most are free ) - Millennium, Tyne, swing and high level bridge - Baltic (art gallery, has kids area but also has great lifts, also free) - Get the metro to whitley bay (beach and arcades) - Have to walk past st James park - Eldon square (full of shops but not many lifts) - Get the metro to the airport (watch planes fly in and out) - Beamish ( has old fashioned trams and buses) - Haymarket and Eldon square bus station (every type of bus) - St. Mary’s cathedral and st Nicholas cathedral (both in city centre) - Durham cathedral (get the train there 15 mins) Need any more information more then happy to help!

I'm not from Newcastle but have been, but Newcastle doesn't have trams, the network closed in the 1950s, it has got a metro train system though, there might still be a museum about the old trams, it has everything else you said though I believe, nearest cities to Newcastle with trams are probably Edinburgh in Scotland or Sheffield (both quite far)

Beamish Is really good if your around here. Old village with old busses, trams to go in and walk around and is also really quiet. Really recommend but a bit far away from Newcastle town.

Kev I currently live in Newcastle, there is a miniature London Underground rather than a true tram system, and similarly to London the only ‘exposed’ parts are further out than the main centre of Newcastle

I live near Newcastle and if you get the metro to South Shields (about a half hour ride) you could visit Ocean beach pleasure park! It’s a Fair with amusements and a bowling alley also, if you go across the road to marine park their is a small train that goes around the park with a cafe and a boating lake, all of this is also right on the beach, might be a nice little day out especially with it being during summer 🙂

I live in Newcastle! The bridges are so beautiful, you should see them when it's dark, that's the best time to see them because one of the bridges lights up all different colours. (We also have the most Greggs in the uk if you wanted to know so pretty cool place 😂😂)

Hello! I’m from Newcastle!! Its an amazing city with plenty to go see. The girls must go to the huge shopping mall the MetroCentre, there’s the Angel of the North, the Sage, the Baltic, quayside, great North Museum, Beamish Museum the list goes on. You’ll love it here!

There is a awesome place in Newcastle called the centre of life that is very science orientated but is awesome for the kids also there is a place called beamish which Andy would love it has trams and cool areas to look at.

I live near Newcastle (often go there) we call trams metro (unless there is something I'm missing) there is the quayside where you can go on a nice walk with awesome scenery. There is also a shopping centre called Intu Eldon Square which has loads of different shops. There is also a massive geeky shop called Forbidden Planet and a Primark

Well idk about UK but here in Denmark most film shops where you take your old camera to get the photos out, those places usually also convert VHS tapes to digital disks or files on a usb I’m not sure.

I'm from the north east definitely visit Bemish in county Durham they have loads of trams and it is very spacious and it isn't too busy so it will be good for Andy. Also Newcastle doesn't have trams but if you go to the metrocentre Andy could ride loads of busses and if Anna wanted to go shopping it would be good for her

I’m from Newcastle. I’m there of corse, if it’s Newcastle upon Tyne your on about. We have the metro system, discovery museum, Hancock museum, shops, Beamish museum, a metro to Gateshead and 40 minuet bus ride to beamish from Newcastle city centre but a good day out, tanfield railway which is a similar travel situation and is only open once or twice a week but has steam trains. Google maps is excellent for helping you find bus routes here.
