Andy Shauf is one of the best songwriters... the way he tells the story of the flip side of the coin on "My Dear, Helen"- In a hauntingly beautiful way that is, fittingly, so different from "Jerry was a Clerk". The man is focking brilliant!

I shook his hand at a Constantines concert in the basement bar of Massey Hall and I told him I loved his music. Not long after that he played there. One of Canada's greatest songwriters.

Wow! Is that oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, three strings? Miles used bass clarinet to great effect in Bitches Brew. This is gorgeous in Massey Hall. Where Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker changed the world.
