I could not agree more! He's an incredible songwriter....his voice and melodies are gorgeous...and the interplay of music and lyrics is stunning. There's such richness & complexity to be found below the apparent simplicity. The animation is excellent too...the skewering of the mounted butterflies in time with those repeated ominous deep chords gives me chills.

Woah…. This new song from Andy Shauf hit Me so hard….. Such a perfect song at the perfect time. It’s been about two minutes since I heard for the first time and I still feel it in My chest. I took My breath away and made Me tear up. I was about to start singing along with it and it just hit Me because it’s an astonishingly beautiful song…… I’ve been saying for years that if I’m ever lucky enough to see Him live and meet Him I’m going to Hug Him and cry. His music is the absolute perfect balance of sadness, joy, and happiness

The gentle pace of this track is gorgeous and Andy’s vocals are very delicate. And its feeling of stillness and silence acting like an instrument. Sort of reminds me of Mark Hollis’ sound on the final two Talk Talk albums. I’m all for Andy going in this direction!

Highly recommend watching the Wasted On You / Catch Your Eye / Telephone music videos in order, makes it very cohesive. You can see the grocery store from the 'Catch Your Eye' video in the beginning for example.
