First time I saw you was for a benefit show for the fire victims in Sonoma County and I remember walking away from that show thinking, this guy is absolutely amazing and can play so many styles of music. I was deeply moved and impressed and continue to be to this day.

Was fortunate to hear of Andy a while ago; Any great guitarist searches for great instrumentals to hang his guitar work upon and then concentrate on tone and execution. This is a good example of a plateau of composing skills, and now most of Andy's shows have a few moments of tunes that fit well together, so his drooling fans get 10 minutes or more of "Andy Ear Candy" to enjoy. This is a fabulous bit of guitar mastery for us to enjoy. Thanks for sharing, Andy.

Another masterpiece Andy! All of your songs has its own taste and feel. One of the most humble and coolest guy too. When i saw you live for the first time you just blew me away. Andy is humble and once he gets guitar in his hands he turns into a melodic monster: God bless you Andy and i hope you come up with more inspirational melodic tunes.

Outstanding Andy! Thank you for sharing this with us. This is the first song of yours that I ever heard. Like you, I also play Mesa/Boogie amps. Back in 2007 I got my first Mesa, a Triple Rectifier. I loved the high gain sound but wasn't happy with the clean sound. So sometime in 2008 I visited Mesa/Boogie's website to look for some information on another amp and when the webpage loaded, this song just started playing. Usually when that sort of thing happens, I try to find the source and turn it off but this time I stopped and thought, "Hey, this is actually pretty good. What is this?" Turns out it was a little video of a Mesa/Boogie factory tour that had started playing automatically down near the bottom of the page when the webpage loaded and this song was the soundtrack for it. I ordered the Resolution album that day and eventually ordered a second copy (I gave one to a cousin of mine for Christmas one year). The Resolution album is one of the albums that changed my life. It's one of only a handful of albums that changed the way I approach guitar. Your phrasing and your tone are second to none. I also have That Was Then, This Is Now and the Resolution Live DVD. It's great to see you playing the AT-300 again. Out of all of your guitars, that one is my favorite. I wish Ibanez still made it. Cheers, Andy!

I believe Andy wrote this after 9/11 and it is the song that drew me into his music. Melodies + note selection + tone = masterclass.

@@Indiegaze Correct! Gone is the song written to immortalize 9/11. In the live video filmed at the Granada Theater in Dallas, he presented it as is.

I am so happy you bring out the AT300 every now and then. Usually on "Beware of dark days". This is such an under rated guitar, with exceptional tone and looks!
@hamerac4 жыл бұрын
Actually I think that is an AT-200. The 300 has the input jack on the bottom of the Guitar and not the front like a Strat. Unless there was more than 1 model?

Where's the vocals? I'm singing along. I saw Jimi in 1969 and dropped out of high school for a steel factory job, ordering a 50 watt head and 8x10 cabinet, all that Marshall would export for this Canadian, non-recording artist. yeah... I didn't even know barre chords back then...
