In 1998, my soon to be husband and I were vacationing in Missouri and had no money to speak of but had to see his show. Wonderful romantic evening. Quite the showman and gentleman. Both have since passed - watching this is bittersweet.

I agree 100%, but I would add Elvis & Tom Jones to the list also. All can do magical things with their voice.....and all could make you feel like they are singing directly to you, while still entertaining the crowd in the audience. Andy & Elvis could sing the phone book!

He has already been handsomely rewarded by us all over a lifetime, here on earth, and they say God gives out our talents and our own effort in training perfects it. What a lovely guy on stage, always charming, respectable an image of success and stability. Whatever he was like in private, for our part as fans he couldn't have presented any better. Beats the rest and compliments Dean Martin another lovely, sting but calm and gentle guy. True gentlemen. Inner strength is far stronger than that exhibited in today's violence and ignorance.

The greatest of all of them. Singing from age 5 to 81. His 4 octave ranged voice never failed. He was handsome and good. Generous and giving. I'm still enjoying his talent. RIP Mr Williams.....you are unsurpassed.

But for over 50 years now, I have lived my life with your voice. Your songs, such as 'MOON RIVER,' 'MORE,' 'MacArthur Park,' 'Battle Hymn of the Republic,' and 'The Impossible Dream' that gives me courage, make my life wonderful. Please continue to give me the courage to live with your warm voice and amazing expressions. Dear Andy, with heartfelt gratitude, from MITSU."
