I love all of these versions, but the one that gets me the most, is from the Angel episode I Will Remember You, with Buffy repeating the words “I’ll never forget.” 🥺 Such a sad moment.

7:40 That's the power of leitmotivs. The music is already very moving in itself but the fact that we've heard this theme be so calm and sweet all this time and then we get its tragic, epic powerful version makes it even more climactic.

What sadness!!!! When I listen this I always think that is very beautiful the relationship of Angel and Buffy because it was instantaneous, and despite the distance and despite Angel broke up with Buffy, he always worried for her and he always was nearby protecting her even after he went to LA he sometimes returned to Sunnydale for see her and more than once he shown be jealous of the guys whom Buffy went out after him. So for me he is perfect for Buffy because for him she was the only one girl that gave him and make him feel truly happiness. Bringing as a consequence the loss of his soul, and Buffy said that when something bad happened her only impulse was to run to Angel. So Angel and Buffy Forever!!!!!!

Actually.....I was just watching this episode and thinking about this scene and I feel like some bad writing took place here 😅...bc it was Angel's blood that was needed to close portal just like it was needed to open it, but to open it all he had to do was cut his hand and use a wee bit off blood to open the portal. So like, just slice his hand open again and use another wee bit of blood to close it 😅😆!!! Like literally he didn't have to be fed his whole self to this thing to close it!!!! It was completely unnecessary!!! Then he and Buffy coulda been happy 😭💔

😢 I think it was because she was fully ready to kill him anyway. He was lost to her, as she didn't know that they were trying to bring his soul back. She had the close the portal, and she had to kill him.

​@@utsukushiiookami When Angel's soul came back she was clearly relieved and happy; she knew it was him (which they make clear in this scene, as well as by what she tells Willow and Giles a few episodes later). So yeah....since she knew he was back, and he wasn't lost to her anymore, killing him wasn't really necessary. :/

As I understand it the only way to close the portal was for Angel's blood to be 'spilled' in hell. Think about it. To open the portal, blood must be spilled on the earthly side while to close it, the blood has to be spilled on the opposite side.

This will never cease to make me cry a whole friggin’ bunch, but on the bright side it also has inspired me to write my own Buffy like story, but if Buffy were Willow, no it’s not about Willow, just a coven, so more like it’s a story that I actually want to write for either Netflix or Peacock, honestly Peacock would be good, because I could actually give it quality content… It’s getting better with Twisted Metal but this would be adding so much. I would only plan for around 3 or 4 seasons but if it’s a success, I would say I do intend to follow it up
