Music is meant to be explored and that's what he did. When music is left unexplored it becomes stagnant, innovation dies and we end up with music that is uninspiring and flat. Patrzalek did a brilliant job arranging the sonata. It makes me hopeful for the future and inspires me in my own journey with music.

Just noticed that exactly on 5:23 his fingers crossed on the neck in what seems to be almost impossible way... I consider my fingers to be freakishly flexible and I canNOT even place my fingers like that helping myself with another hand, let alone move them like that and add required pressure on top of that. But his other hand in this shot gives me answer how he does it... This guy is a DEMON. These nails...! XD

Music is a perpetual recreation of the same melodies. Mash up songs demonstrate that very well. Marcin is a fantastic guitarist. I began guitar on a folk and I know how it s hard to play like this with octavados, slides, fingers technics... It means a deep work with the instrument.

Fundamentally, Marcin is Polish and he first learn classic and so on. We know great classic composer from Poland, such as Chopin. That alone for sure Marcin highly values how to deliver a classical music piece in his beautiful rendition....AND Marcin amazingly beautiful make classical music into a much refreshing vibe...I love so much his classical rendition/arrangement. I play classical piano so I really really love Marcin's classical rendition with the drumming, bashing and everything that we cannot do on a piano for sure ...😀😀...I feel sooo lucky to be able to witness Marcin's talent.

I think he took the song to heaven with him and allowed us the privilege to accompany him. I love Marcin's renditions. I agree with you that this is how music is meant to evolve and how it will stay relevant for another 200 years. Marcin's like Dimash - a gift from God to help uplift us and remind us that God is out there always with us and music like Marcin plays or songs such as Dimash sings are his gentle and beautiful way of reminding us of how much he loves you and me and all of us.

One of Christopher Parkening’s early concerts at the Kennedy Center, right around the time when he was still playing with Andres Segovia, Christopher played one of the most amazing Moonlight Sonata’s I’ve ever heard. Every note or sound was precise and defined unlike most guitarists that blend their notes to much.

Thanks for your reaction! To your question - Marcin doesn't go too far with his innovations. In wikipedia you can read about Beethoven: "he extended his innovations in musical form and expression". I mean, innovation is a natural proces. What would Beethoven probably do if he lived nowadays? I think he would probably use the whole technical potential in musics as we have it now. And when you as a result get something so perfect and beautiful as that! I can only say - thank you Marcin!

Music has ALWAYS been interpreted by successive artists whether their version is appealing to the public or not. Purists are ill informed if they believe the composition must remain as written because technically it NEVER is. First, the sheet music's notation is ONLY a blueprint of the composition. It doesn't give us the composer's actual thought process in the writing and performance, so we're left with OUR own interpretation. Being a classical pianist who's spent hours practicing and refining my performance it comprised numerous small variances that probably differed from the composer's in order to achieve what I'm interpreting that will give the audience enjoyment. Do I vary the phrasing, tempo (faster or slower),more or less crescendo, diminuendo, the sharpness of staccato etc. Also the fact that the piece is subject to my state of mind, sad ,exuberant etc. A prime example of variation is a version of "'' babe I'm gonna leave you"' originally composed and preformed by Anne Bredon around 1959, later performance by Joan Baez in 1962, and then Led Zeppelin in September 68 recorded and in January 69 released their interpretation. The interpretive chasm from a folk singer's composition and performance to the variation of a Blues influenced hard rock band is so incredibly vast that it boggles the mind as to HOW the leap was made. Often the song will prompt people to seek out and listen to the original composition which is probably vastly different yet it keeps the music alive. The reason for using Led Zeppelin as an example is that their live performances of this song is NEVER the same at each venue due to their incredible improvisational ability which most bands will shy away from.
