I've answered this many times but I still get asked every day, so I want to remind everyone that yes I am going to make an Assassin's Creed Unity movie. However, like always, I can't predict when that's going to be. I always play these games for myself first, and with Assassin's Creed games, I often like to go for 100% synchronization. Right now I'm at 70% after about 60 hours. After I get the 100%, I will begin work on the movie. Note that I don't just plow through the story when I do these. Especially when it comes to Unity, side missions are important in upgrading your character, and upgrading your character, I think, is important for this story, so I will be doing side missions and collecting chests and doing co-op missions to boost my rewards, etc, between story missions, in order to upgrade my character as much as possible. I have decided that I will be sticking to the "Arno's ____" armor, rather than any of the others, to stick to canon. So I anticipate my total play time for my movie recording to be somewhere around 25-30 hours. After that I will edit my movie, which includes any visual effects shots I may need to remove unwanted UI elements wherever possible. All of this takes time, especially because I have a job and a crowded TV watching schedule as well as other games. Last year, I was able to begin work on my AC4 movie around this time last December, and the movie took a little over a month to complete. This year I don't expect to be able to start work on the movie until at least the end of this month if not the beginning of next year. I also expect the editing of this movie to take longer than AC4, so at the earliest, I wouldn't expect it until February, but it may be later. Sorry to keep many of you waiting but I never release my movies right after the game releases. If you are impatient I recommend playing the game for yourself. The gameplay and graphics in this game are really good.

I had played this game, 9 years ago. And I was pleasently surprised to find the game's soundtrack in cutscenes, which Assassin's Creed generally avoids. "Did they patch this in later?" I wondered. Until I saw the OST overlapping scenes. You went in and added it. Thank you for your work. And maybe because of this you disabled the ingame subs, because there are dialogues overlapping too. Sometimes DLC is worth it. This is one of those times. This isn't even really DLC, just a shorter Assassin's Creed game (still probably takes 10+ hours to get 100%). You can even buy it standalone.

Hello Andy. I just finished watching AC III and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'll be watching the rest of your AC movies as I've become addicted to AC since watching the trailer to Unity. Knowing that you'll be making a Unity movie is awesome, thanks for that. However, I'm curios. I've seen the whole game through other expert gamers and it's phenomenal watching skilled players go from part1 through part35 and accomplish so much with so much flair. It takes me forever just to make it through a basic RPG game mission, but I do enjoy RPG games. So my question to you is this, being that Unity is designed for multiplayer participation for several missions, though Arno finishes the game on his own, will you integrate coop missions into your movie as well? And will you add "serious voice over" or not. Personally I would love to see Unity coop within the movie as there are missions that require multiplayer even though it's not required for the actual storyline. But then why bother with multiplayer game at all. ;) From my POV this would be a perfect opportunity for you to be "the first gamer"? To make such a movie that would in fact use the gameplay as intended, and if possible, use some type of loose script with strong trusted game players for coop. Would that be too far fetched?? I can only hope! Thanks again for my great enjoyment.

I never use subtitles. Personally, subtitles are incredibly distracting, and I've found that people thank me a lot for not using them for that reason. Most videos on youtube have subtitles, so sometimes it's difficult to find a good video without them, so I like to provide that. I understand some people need them but I'd rather not force subtitles on anyone who doesn't want them. KZbin has a CC service where you can manually input subtitles, but it takes a long time to transcribe and time subtitles like that (I know, I've done it for a DVD of one of my live action movies before)

I am not a native english speaker and subtitles not only help me understand better they also enable me to learn. youtube bitrate is constant for streaming purposes. Constant bitrates lose quality in higher motion, and youtube's bitrate is a bit lower than ideal. No I don't upload my movies elsewhere as it takes a long time for me to upload them on youtube and this is where I have subscribers.

This particular movie was 8gb, which took usually a full night to upload, and maybe an hour to process, but because youtube kept glitching I had to upload this thing 4 times before it worked. However, some of my movies have been even larger, like 25-35gb. I was just lucky with this one because it was short.
