I agree with your assessment of the ON1 keyword AI software. It occasionally nails the keywords (with a broad stroke), but more often spits out a random mashup of keywords that may or may not include those related to your image. You would spend more time culling the improperly tagged keywords than you would be saving with the AI's supposed help. I also had numerous crash issues, and had to constantly refresh the previews on my well equipped and freed up to fly surface laptop 5. "Like a screen door on a submarine" puts it so well. If you want the photo organizer Keyword AI purports to be, stick with the free Adobe Bridge software. Otherwise, the Lightroom Classic and Any Vision plug-in workflow appear to be a solid option.

If I didn't need the stacks and the plugin extensions that I get with Lightroom, I would 100% move to something like Peakto/Mylio for DAM, Photolab for RAW editing (yes even without the handy AI masking) and Any Vision for the keywords. :)

the point of ai is to do less work. this is way to complicated of a process

It's a small amount of work at the start and then literally no work at all from that point on. It keyworded 160,000 photos for me in one weekend.
