Newbridge had some great teams back then. Fealey, Andy Alan, Peter Crane, Kenny Waters and the young man who put this video up to mention but a few. Miss those days of a packed Welfare ground. Still a great atmosphere down the club now though. Thanks for the upload.

Another great video. Couldn't quite make myself out in the crowd just in front of the clubhouse though sadly. Fair play to Romania as they put a decent effort in and it was appreciated by the Newbridge crowd.

@@andyjohnsutton Yes, I lived there from 88 to 99. Mr ex father in law went all the time so I ended up going with him and watched them home & away all the time I lived there. Happy days indeed

Newbridge did better than Wales who lost to Romania two years before.
