Luke was and is just too disarmingly real of a human being for most to be able to handle, sadly. They really weren’t ready for his level of genius back then, and too many tragically still aren’t today.

One of his best tracks actually... What he does at 5:00 mins slowly deconstructing the lead melody, almost to a complete stop, not before the bassline reappears at 5:14 to pick things back up like it was playing all along inaudibly in the background, Luke just decided to turn the volume back up on it at the perfect time. Gourmet chune.
