Fantastic playing and swing feel on this! I'm a pianist finally getting into live playing with a host of VSTs and thought it would be cool to integrate pedaled bass lines. I'm intimidated by the "muscle memory" learning curve with using your feet like that and wonder if a single octave is enough to make it worth while anyway (disregarding transpose on the fly). But you show how elegant it can be when executed properly. Kudos!

You can always go for the PK-7 with 20 pedals instead if you think you need more than an octave for the more advanced, melodic bass lines. That number is really versatile. Once used to it, you wouldn't want to scale down anymore. (But I managed a couple of years with 13 too.)

I'm having issues with my PK-5. My settings will not save, even with the factory reset and the poly mode is exactly the same as the bass mode. Help! Thanks.
