@@2011goldtop first sign is the open O logo that indicates Mint Collection period ( 1982 - 1990), by the shape of the body ( gibson 50s) and other 50s gibson like details, headstock shape and angle ( 18) and distinctive shape of the back of the headstock which was only first few years of the Mint Collection period, truss rod cover also is mint collection shape only.. I am Greco enthusiast and long time collector by now and have a lot of them so I know a lot of details from experience. Yours probably and it should have serial but is black on black so you'll must look more carefully under the light maybe beacouse to me from what I see from the front it looks original everything except for the switch tip.

Is this a EG 59? Own two Grecos and they as good as my Customshop Gibson after upgrade the Elektronics... but far less expensive...

I own three Super Real Greco's 1980 EG800PR, 1980 EGF1000 and a 1982 EGC 68/60 and they play better than any Gibson Les Paul that I have ever played.

Yes, it is eg59-50 , in my opinion no need to upgrade anything, I prefer Greco Dry pickups, but screamin pafs are excellent also, I change eventually the magnet in them to a4. Pots are 500k and all wiring is braided and caps are pio, you'll have a hard time to upgrade that with modern components.
