Keep the weathering subtle. AFV crews go the extra mile taking care of their ride, with extreme pride. Nice work!

I haven't had the spare time to build model kits since I was 17 (I'm now 55). I have over 100 kits now and plan to start up again when I retire in 7 years and I've learned a lot just watching your videos Andy!!!! Can't wait to start up.

Tamiya ROCKS! And these days, instead of being the king of high prices, they're actually pretty modest... and I love the color they mold their kits in.... Andy, I REALLY miss the old channel and the kits you built....

You're the Bob Ross of model building. Love your work! As a special request, I would love to see you build a Convair B-58 "Hustler" aircraft model (And if you did I would purchase it). The Hustler didn't have a long service life with the USAF SAC but it does have a great history. Keep the videos coming, I enjoy them tremendously!

Wow! What an awesome new kit from Tamiya! I can't wait to get my hands on it. Thanks so much for making these videos Andy. I was impressed with the way you make the rubber tracks look so real, and the way you used the Vallejo pigments with thinner to get a dusty finish on the body of the model. Great tips that I will attempt to use. Perhaps I should practice on an old cheap kit before trying it out on a newer one?

I just built the Academy version and when I compare it to the Tamiya kit I have to say that I wish I bought the Tamiya kit. The academy kit has lots of parts but I had to modify certain parts quite a bit during assembly to be able to fit them.

Thanks for the nice video, very cool kit. It should have included a metal barrel .. any modern kit must come with this addition at least considering the crazy prices of kits in the recent years.

Neat, neat kit, looking forward to building one myself sometime. Now, I know this will most likely get guys calling me everything I'm not, and that's fine, but, I enjoyed this video most of all simply because there wasn't any music. Tastes in music vary as much as anything else and no matter what you play, some will like it, some won't. I prefer none at all. I'd rather listen to you talk about the kit, things that help if we build the same one. Now, these are your videos obviously and if you want music in them then hey, let the music play. I'll just mute the sound like some of the others. I enjoy those also, but this one, for me anyway, was the best. I'll never have anything that looks like yours, but that's not the reason to build models anyway. As I've said many many times, you're stuff looks fantastic and I truly enjoy seeing your work. Thanks again and best wishes, Michael

It's an incredibile model, I always liked the late war camo, expecially the "ambush" variant, it's a pity you don't make the crew's figures, they'll add a lot to a model

Hello Andy, Richard from UK here, I watch and subscribe to your videos often and I am a big fan of yours. Could you possibly have a go at brush painting and weathering a Tamiya military kit, not all of us can afford to buy a airbrush and compressor or get permission from she who must be obeyed to set up a spraying area in the home.Any tips and guides would be very welcome, best regards Richard.
