I've built two of these Dragon Tigers with zimmerit . Quite straightforward to build and on one I purchased some aftermarket tracks and for the other used the tracks supplied in the box. Found no issues with those supplied by Dragon. My only constructive criticism of this build is that Andy has used the decals for the SS s.Pz.abt. 102 in Normandy but the camouflage pattern is incorrect. The pattern that has been used here is closer to the Tigers of the SS s.Pz.abt. 101 of the 2nd company , although there was slightly more green and rotbraun used. I would highly recommend this model , a great kit to build.

Beautiful kit. You done a fabulous job on it. The 134 numbers on the turret looked just outlined but the rear one look filled in in black, or is it my eyes. You make it look so easy! Great job.

Stevie Gibson No your eyes are right , it was the way the decals were made for that tank , I used them because they were different, thanks for watching.

Andy why didn't you use workable tracks(plastic or metal) for this beauty?

I have the Dragon kit #6700 the Tiger I Mid Production. It looks similar enough except for the road wheels not being full steel like the Late Tiger. I was wondering what the benefit of using the aluminum gun in place of the plastic one that comes with the kit. It gets covered in paint anyway. If the details of the plastic doesn't surpass the metal add-on piece do you gain anything?

This is an older video so im sure it's a shot in the dark for any sort of answer but I have a question. What colors are you using for the camo pattern? if stated in the video I missed it and I apologize. I am about to build a tamiya tiger 1 mid and would like to go with roughly the same camo pattern but need to know the colors. Thank you for any response. And btw you sir are a master of painting models these vids are all epic. Wish I was home back in AZ I would stop in for sure.

Hi Andy, Well once again you have completed another great build. As I'm, mainly interested in 'Modern' armour most WWII is not of interest to me, but I would one day like to build a Tiger. Cheers, Les (Australia)

You feed it to your compressor so it's directly in the air feed, of course!

The hatches for the driver and the radio operator/machine gunner are on incorrectly. Switch sides. They're only going to see the shovel and the bottom of the main gun mantlet.
