This will continue ,and they face a difficult time in parliament. I’m gutted…everyone I know voted Reform but our Labour MP was re-elected. He had nearly 15,000 votes. Why because his fellow Asians got off their backsides and voted. I had delivered Reform leaflets through doors in my local area for a week & then cast my vote for Reform. I found it disheartening to see my local candidate come in third. That said, it was a highly respectable 3rd, about a thousand votes behind the Tories. The remaining parties were well behind reform pulling votes in the hundreds. The indifference of people who cant be bothered to vote is appalling. They have no right to whinge for the position they've now put the country in.

Valid point about not having parties. Parties may be fine for By elections, etc as long as there are chances for Independent reps. But the GE that's a different ball game. That Should and must be one vote one person or if its voting for a party one vote one party. This current system is bonkers

You can't force people to do something because you don't like the result. There does need to be a "none of the above" option though, not voting is a "I don't care" vote, you have to respect people's rights to do that
