This completely blew my mind, seeing cut content from a 20 year old game for the first time is so inexplicably cool. Its awesome to see how much Andy loves TH, it's infectious, and I definitely wouldn't have so many hours in 1+2 if it wasn't for Andy.

It’s WILD seeing these unreleased beta levels and what changed between beta vs final in the levels that made the cut.

I LOVE that underground parking link in Downtown. Would have been dope if they added that into THPS 1+2.

This is absolutely amazing! I’ve always wanted to see this beta played in full depth! It’s super interesting to see how much the game changed over time! From the level design, the art, the start menu, etc. it’s so awesome to see!

Downhill is massive on this. It seems way better than the one we got. Really love these kind of vids

Maybe the >arrow< wall in Downtown was planned to be interactable and house a hidden area like the fence/secret bowl in the Rio competition in THPS3(PS2).

apparently the arrow on the wall in downtown was a place you could go through to end your run.

Wasn't a subway planned for that level at one point?

I think you missed something in the School Gym. Maybe it wasn't this build but I believe at one point you could enter the glass windowed bridge thing that is near the start area between the gym and the walls of the map.

14:08 I always figured that SK icon was an early prototype for the SKATE letters. I wonder if anyone even remembers anymore.

I remember playing first the demo on a disc from a magazine. The only playable map was skate park, that one before downhill. I never saw that map again, until now

Would the Skip to Restart be a debug option for testing, or do you think maybe originally you could choose your start point? And maybe you could work on different roots to optimise collection & score etc.
@andyTHPS3 жыл бұрын
pretty sure this was purely for debugging

Do you think Freeway might have been an early build/idea for the level in thps3 with the earthquake? San Fran was it?

How dare you not enter the overpass in school? Do you know how many people were obsessed trying to know if it was possible? Hahahahaha I think that's what captivated me the most in the first game. You can see that there was more planed to the levels sometimes, like there's some hidden secret.
