Board: Mr. Suit TKL R2 Babycoat (white) with silver chamfered edges
Board insulation: PE Foam, no case foam. Spacebar foam included
Plate: POM
Keycaps: GMK Perestroika
Switches: Owlswitches (Tungsten switches) which are long pole nylon jwk recolors. Lubed with 205g0, no film. Springs lubed with 205g0.
Stabilizers: Owlstabs on all 2u modifiers lubed with XHT-BDZ and 205g0. Spacebar is Durock v2 with holee mod and 205g0.

This keyboard is loud. But it has an overall good sound that can be tuned to your taste with the use of PE foam, case foam, pcb foam, and spacebar foam. In my opinion, the weakest point of the keyboard is the spacebar, so you'll want to use that spacebar foam.
The flexibility of this keyboard is very nice and it feels like it is a bit more solid than the Jelly Epoch that OwLab has released prior. I am not bottoming out as easily. This keyboard just feels a lot more refined.
The package is now pushing out of budget category, especially if you get the fancy silver chamfered edges with a $40 premium. It is definitely nice, though. You have your F13 key and you have WKL.. satisfying the desires of a lot of enthusiasts.
The mounting is very different from a top mount or gummy o ring, so it has its own signature sound. Because of this, you will either love it or hate it.
I've been told that the aluminum plate does not sound the best in this keyboard, so definitely go for pom, pc, or FR4 plates.

great vid, but the ding sound between each sound test for the switches was very grating and distracting. Makes it hard to hear the minute differences between the switches.

Had to have some notification in between switches so you would know when it started or ended. Tried to lower it down as much as I could

I hate rubber gaskets honestly. Like, if I'm getting a super expensive keyboard, I want it to last me 30 years like an old Model M or something. Rubber just guarantees it's going to degrade in sound + fit and finish over time due to how it melts back into oil due to reversion.

I do like the sound of this board. However at first it gets distracting but after a few days you get used to it. I swap keyboard every week, so when I do I'll expect it to be distracting at first which is why i might add more sound dampening, because I don't want to remove pe foam. I realized I tend to prefer more quieter boards as well, no matter how good it sounds.

They're are also some pads from Xraypads that can be customized with different sizes and print, using the same material as their performance pads. I believe someone did a deskmat group buy using the Xraypads Aqua Control+ before, it's what I use for my custom 1000x500 Daikoku parking lot mat.

How would you compare this to the iron180 in terms of sound and feel?

I like the lower front height of the iron 180 more. I don't remember there being any issues with iron180 spacebar

I personally did not like the iron180 it did not sound as good as the Mr suit even the Mr suit with only plate foam and nothing else sounds better then the iron 180. The way and uses it is great just pe with spacebar foam. I have to say the mods sound much better using other stabs then the owl stabs lol. But the alphas and everything else are far ahead the iron180 with pop. I think Andy would of really liked it with case and plate foam without pe foam. Has good clack but a bit dampened but in a good way like he likes. Still a nice soft typing experience also with a tiny bit of flex.

This mentality makes no sense to me. The pe foam literally comes with the keyboard. It's like saying a keyboard that requires gaskets or any type of dampening material isn't a good keyboard. Pe foam does not affect anything other than the sound. There are no drawbacks from using pe foam. What would be the difference if there was anther keybard that sunded exactly the same but without pe foam? The only difference would be while building the keyboard where you would have take an extra 5 seconds to install the foam. That's it. In use it would be the exact same thing.

Do not judge a board without knowing a very single detail, not all boards sounds hallow without pe foam especially a high end board like owlab, nontheless like I said that you need to know the details of it before judging the sound, like what you did right now, andy's owlab x mr. suit build was really great for me but seems like you never heard what andy said about the board or detail of it, if it a had pe foam or not, sometimes pe foam help to some hollow board, but it totally depends on preference. sometimes it depends what a person build like😁 We all know that Andy makes a board sounds amazing.😁 not gonna lie.💓

Actually you can fix the wire tick. Retighten pcb to the mid frame screws evenly and not too tight Red crew screws for bottom and top case and adjust until ticking is reduce butt filled stabs again

They're not even comparable. The Suit is an enthusiast board whereas the KBD67 Lite is a budget board. One is also 65% and the other is a TKL. One is also Plastic and one is aluminum. There are too many differences to list

i find it a little disheartening that you didnt say and still havent said anything in regards to this Glorious fiasco with Alex Otos. i know it doesnt change anything but it is worrisome that some viewers( you get 10K+ viewers on each vid let alone) may take your silence as clones are ok to cop. i really respect your outlook and youre one of(the other being Alex himself) the few content creators in this space whose word i take heavily into consideration when making purchases(Sangeo60 and Piggy 60 were all becuase of your vids). i dont mean to come off aggressive or negative but not seeing one of my fave creators not stand up for the community hurts a little. If we want to minimize clones in this community or the blatant plagiarism that larger companies keep doing with this community to make a buck it starts with you folks
