Hi kim! Thank you very much. I want to tell you an anecdote that happened with me: last Sunday I heard a little noice on my department stairs I opened the door I found a big fire. Fortunately I have fire extinguisher beside door. I could hardly extinguishe it. My close neighbor was smokein in bedroom and fire cought in his furniture. He quickly took some furniture with fire and throw it on stairs on front of my department's door. Fortunately no one hurt expet him he lost his consciousness. I saw him today he is good. but he still smoking.

anecdote == a nec doe == t is silent When I watched spider-man first time I asked my parents to buy a spider-man costume for me because I thought after wearing the suit I can stick on walls, do feat like him and propose Mary J. Waston :). How gullible am I was then?

The "t" isn't silent on "anecdote." However, Americans don't usually release the "t" sound when it comes at the end of the word (especially at the end of a sentence). Your mouth will end in the "t" position. Thanks for sharing your anecdote! Wouldn't it be nice if we got cool superpowers by putting on a costume?

Unfortunately, I don't know of one single book that covers all aspects of English. Most of the English books I recommend are traditionally published and often available in Kindle format. For PDFs, I would encourage you to find an online teacher whose style you like and buy an eBook from his or her website.
