Great video my friend. Recently purchased this meter to keep in my car. Handy having usb-c charge port so can easily keep its battery topped up using the accessory socket and my phone cable. Good to see the 2,600 mAh battery. Overall a nice meter.

Hi Wilson! Thanks for the detailed presentation! You made a great video. Among other things, I bought a 683 device as a result of this. I would like to ask you a question. Do you know how to disable auto power off (APO) on the 683? I think the manual describes another type (SEL button). Since there is no such thing, the solution described in the manual does not apply. @@wilsonluilui Hi Wilson! It seems that the APO function cannot be turned off on this device. Unfortunately, I have no contact with the manufacturer. :-( Can you answer one more question for me? It is described in the manual and on the back of the device that two types of fuses are required. One ~600mA and one 20A fast fuse. However, the device contains only one 5×20mm ceramic fuse. I don't fully understand this... Why are there two limits? Why doesn't it include two fuses? Unfortunately, the size of the fuse on my device is not clearly visible (cannot be read). Can you help me in this? Thank you for your work!

Does this meter not auto-range on the resistance setting? It seems to be fixed at 0-599 ohms, with no means to adjust the range. Odd!

@@wilsonluilui The paper instruction manual included with the unit does not explain that the resistance function selected manually using the Select button (ohms symbol displayed) is the circuit test function rather than a manually-selected resistance function. Only the auto resistance mode auto-ranges. Neither does the manual explain how to get the circuit test function. DC and AC V are available to select manually, so it was natural to assume a range with the ohms symbol is a resistance mode.

Did you receive yours yet, if so, how well does it work? My biggest concerns are about the touchscreen part. I have a DMM like this, but previous model where the lower section of the screen is physical buttons and the buttons are probably the most unresponsive ones I've ever seen. In the video they seem to react a lot better, which got me thinking about this.

Impressive test ! Ultra complete ! I hesitate to take the famous, reliable and very simple AN8002. But I came across this AN683 touchscreen model with options that I don't really understand, being a beginner in electronics. I wonder if it is really useful to take this touchscreen version with many options. Regardless of the price, the difference is not huge, but I really don't know... AN8002 or AN683... Being a beginner, is it worth it to directly buy this more complete model or if the AN8002 is already more than enough even when I have a lot more knowledge ? How to test lead battery Ampere on this meter??
