Krejcikova and Siniakova are lowkey legends for both winning a WTA tournament right after another doubles GS win, it just shows how versatile and talented they really are even if they aren't the type of players to be top 10 in the singles ranking.

Watching Krejcikova when she’s fit and got some confidence is honestly a pleasure. Natural timing and flow to her shots combined with aesthetically pleasing technique, solid variety and good court craft. Hopefully she can stay fit and keep this going through the season closure and into next season.

Krejcikova shouldn't even been in this Final in the first place. She cheated Bencic out of Final. She lied to the umpire that she was injured. Apparently she wasn't injured. Bencic was picking her appart and Krejcikova takes MTO. It was clear obvious cheating and injury faking.

Over the week, I've seen several comments that Krejcikova doesn't hit the ball hard. I think some viewers confuse volume with force and pace. She certainly mixes it up, but clearly comes through the ball as well.

The Estonians have been such a respectful crowd! Against Xiyu and Bonaventure, they were absolutely silent during the points and only breaking out in great cheers for Kontaveit once it was completely over. They were never antagonistic or over the top after the match either.

Sometimes these matchups just make you wince, Krejcikova had nothing to lose and Kontaveit…..a lot. Anett has lost a variety of different finals this year after coming close to her biggest win yet. An Indoor hard court final at home though will sting right before she goes off to defend many points. Can’t help but feel so much for the loser sometimes.
