Hi again Nick, one last thing on the terracing between the lower and middle tier, most of it will be three rows of additional seating but most of the flatter section at the SKD end is where the additional wheelchair bays are being installed. That's a statutory requirement by the way, any time you increase overall capacity the number of bays for disable spectators has to increase by the same ratio in both the home and away sections. I think we currently have a total of circa 210 wheel chair bays and quite rightly so.

Your stadium is looking really good now. I think it will be one of the special stadiums. Very steep and close to the pitch. Anfield looks finished to a far better quality now. I suspect the original job was maybe just to allow other works to continue..

I went on the stadium tour last week and can confirm the the lower part of the Kop is not having the rail seating (I asked the member of staff stood at the bottom of it).

Hi Nick I saw on one of the other lads videos that they are treating the seats in the main stand but have only done the tip up parts so far but not the backs & not touched any of the last blocks each end! So by the beginning of the season would imagine it will all look pristine 😀 Cheers Dave C

The whole of the Kop is being done Nick, if it's not completed ahead of the Brentford game it will be completed during the season (international breaks etc) Either way the whole Kop will be rail seating and more importantly 100% licensed safe standing which will take the total number of designated safe standing seats in the stadium to something in excess of 17,000 (12,600 on the Kop and circa 5,100 on the Annie Road lower tier) currently the most in any Premier League stadium. *Safe standing does not increase capacity by the way. It's simply a seat you can stand in front of. The reason for that is that it still gives the club total control on the number of people in each block by preventing them moving from one block to another.

Good stuff, great that the Kop is back to safe standing again, makes the home atmosphere a lot better and away fans always stand anyway…I will be in Kop for Sevilla and many more this season. Will be good

Hi Nick, thankyou for this most recent upload. I haven't noticed it before on any of the drone pilots who are covering the A.R.E. stand development, but it now says Fan Zone in white print above the two respective entrances to those areas. Maybe it has been covered already idk, but I thought that I'd mention it. While I'm thinking on these lines, Kev, and Wayne uploaded on their channels about the probability of expanding The Kop, Kev even said that he'd received info from somebody internal of Liverpool F.C./F.S.G. so it was virtually concrete. However, 6 days ago on another channel, The C.E.O. of Liverpool F.C. said that 'THERE ARE NO PLANS TO FURTHER EXPAND ANFIELD.' So, it seems that there is a bit, or a lot of wishful thinking on our parts, unfortunately. Unfortunately, as the Man Utd owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe their preliminary studies of whether it's worth repairing and expanding the existing stadium, has opted for and is enthusiastic about building a new 100 000 seat stadium.... 'a Wembley of the north.' So, how do the Liverpool faithful feel now about staying at Anfield in it's location... encroached on by housing, Stanley Park, and Walton Breck Rd? Man Utd are saddled with debt as it is I hear with wages, player purchases etc etc. But considering that they are to build a £2Bn 100 000 seat stadium, how will we even be able to compete for players, as well as the revenue the the stadium will bring. I was always for, building a brand-new stadium, Anfield might have it's heritage, blah blah blah BUT, F.S.G. have limited scope for Liverpool's growth by staying there. Anfield faithful will try and shoot my comments down, but facts is facts. Liverpool need and deserve a way bigger and better stadium than the current 61 400 (approx) pink-seater that we currently have. Comments about re:Southport, devastation is not the word, whole communities have been ripped apart because of one person. I know that there's anger and frustration, and yeah the governments and police could handle this influx of immigration a lot better than they are. However, anger and violence are not the way forward, neither is bringing back capital punishment. What I do think that we need in this country is a Supermax, like ADX Florence in Colorado. Somewhere where people who commit such atrocities can enjoy 'all-of-life sentences' where the only contact that they will have with other humans, is when their cell is cleaned, or when their meals are delivered. (The guards and cleaners aren't allowed to talk to prisoners even) They will be looking at four white walls, white floors, white concrete furnishings, and white bedding for the rest of their life, with just one slit-window that allows them to see 'sky'. They won't ever gaze over lush greenery, or water, ever again. 'There, they will find that there is life after death. A very painful life.' (I think that's from a Ray Liotta film called 'No Escape').

Can anyone tell me but that roofing looks cheap like from b & q proper basic cheap plastic where the main stand looks like glass. Wasn’t the original glass ? Since they’ve changed it it looks very cheap materials, anyone enlighten me? Thanks. Also they look like two decent new stands but they are not level all different heights, if they do the other two stands I’d like them to be done in 2 as well could possibly have a better style

Hi Nick, the riots in Southport last night were 100% down to the out of town EDL (the English Defence League) and was a totally racially motivated incident. It all kicked off when they tried to burn down a mosque, it sickens me that they would turn a peaceful vigil attended by several thousand families and their children into a political demonstration and subject the good people of Southport and their kids to even more totally irresponsible trauma and distress. I have friends in Southport who weren't directly affected by what happened on Monday but what happened last night will impact on the whole of Merseyside and beyond. It beggars belief that another teenage was arrested last night for carrying a flick knife.
