As a big follower of Lyon, I would strongly advise not to go for Cherki. Kid is clearly extremely talented, but the main problem with him is that he has been hyped up by Lyon’s academy since he is 12, he is not a hard worker and his demeanour on and off the ball is often infuriating, he slows the game down too much to do some useless tricks and his decision making is mid at best. Maybe coming to a bigger club will set him straight, and tbf to him he has been a better professional for the past year. Still not convinced.

Could easily happen. Kelleher has to be sold. Too far gone to persuade to stay with contract running out in 2026. Alisson has an extra year, contract till 2027 and with injuries and a good offer from Saudi he could well go for a big pay day. LFC to cash in with future cover. Mamardashvili with Jaros number two a big possibility.

Tbh marmoush is by far the better option. Cherki is a gifted player but too many red flags, for one he doesnt like pressing or any off the ball stuff that helps the team, doesnt like to train hard, and he tends to slow down play to do fancy dribble stuff similar to Anthony at united. Essentially its an underlying attitude issue like balotelli but probs not as bad
