I was surprised DENR-R12 gave such permit to level the top of the mountain to a private entity to build a commercial establishment. How could that happen? It would have been a bit okay if the project is a government project for a road or public-centric infrastructure like a highway or road or a bridge. But this is privately owned resort that doesn't benefit to the public. DENR should be held responsible for this environment-destructive project.
