Angèle - Mauvais rêves [LYRICS - ENGLISH] & PAROLES

This song was written almost as if it was a poem, "my body crumbles" "i lose vision" all to describe when she falls asleep. I'm not sure why she chose the word shipwreck but it's interesting how in english it takes on additional meaning since we associate "ships" with relationships. I was confused for a moment when she states she "sees/notices them in her sleep" but she's telling us she has lucid dreams. This is another song that feels like it was recorded live/in one take. I love the melody that kicks in at 2:20, so haunting.
