Ange is without doubt the best manager since Jock Stein, he is cut from the same mould in stature, in vision and in his management style. He is also driven like Jock was, in that he understands what the club means to the ordinary working class man. Its a tragedy for Australia that Ange walked away from the national team - but that is Ange. He had a vision and plan for how he wanted to instill into the Australian national team a footballing identity. But Football Australia was only interested in qualifying for World Cups - that was all that mattered. So Ange walked. Best of luck to him at Celtic - you got a great man.
@FIshfood500 Жыл бұрын
Did Ange not want to qualify for World Cups?
@ndoanhuy1 Жыл бұрын
@@FIshfood500 Ange wanted more than just the short sighted target of qualifying for the World Cups. He wanted to build a culture and national team with a footballing identity - the type of attacking footy you see Celtic playing at the mo. But with limited personnel it was going to take time to get there probably with mixed results along the way - Football Australia apparently didnt have the patience for it and kept clashing with Ange. So he walked - he wasn't the man for their job. But before he left, he actually qualified Australia for the 2018 World Cup - as soon as Ange sealed qualification, he left. Thats the type of man he is.

Despised every Celtic manager since about 2004. But this guy is a top man and a top manager. Fair play. Would hate to be a Rangers fan at the moment!

If McCoist wasn't a pundit he could do stand up When Kent tried that 1 in a billion shot he had me in stitches with his line about the laws of physics 😂

Big Chris right in with the 'Lucky' jibe 🤣, always likes to get his bit in especially in the company of Rangers men Must admit even as a Celtic man, Laudrup was something else, and you've got to love Coisty's way of speaking, could listen to his patter all day long, his story on Si ferry's interview with him about Tommy Burns at the 'Show Racist The Red Card' photoshoot is priceless, you can totally see the love he had for him

Beale's away to B&Q before it closes to get more Evostick as he's sniffed his way through the last week.
