i don't really mind sponsored videos. I don't think the viewers realize that youtubers get sent much more products than we could ever know. Lots of companies are trying to use youtubers as an outlet to promote their products. KZbinrs would make much more money if they made videos about all the products they get sent, but they don't really. Overall, her channel isn't filled with sponsored videos, so I think we can trust her with this one.

Who cares if this is a sponsored video? KZbinrs gotta eat too! I actually happen to think Sam's sponsored videos are always really well done. The products seemed to work really nicely on her hair. I'm sure if they were crap products, she wouldn't promote them to her subscribers. Sponsored or not, it was a nice tutorial. :) I have dreadlocks and I still really enjoyed it. Even if you think sponsored videos are lame, it's still cool to support youtubers you like.

hey, towel drying like that actually roughs up the hair cuticle and aides in frizzy hair! Its better (and less harmful) to dry your curly hair with a microfiber towel or tshirt! Love the tutorial

You could do a (chemical) perm, at the hair salon. They can make it a tighter curl, or more like loose waves. It's not only for older ladies. I think it's better for the hair long term than using heat tools on it every day to get curls/waves. And it's less fuss day to day.

Emma Lindvall naw. Perms just break apart the hair shaft itself in order for you to mold the hair as youd like, causing longer term thinning and breakage.... Its better to just grow out your natural hair, or where a weave while taking care of your hair underneath intell it gets to a length you injoy 😉

I hated to wash my hair when I had a weave! I would go weeks without washing it! Gross I know! It took forever to dry and I didn't want them to get loose because when I don't have a weave I liked to scrub my scalp. It feels so good! Do you wash your scalp or get your braids wet when you wash your hair?

Hi Sammi, loved your vid. I've had a curly weave like you and just discovered the 'Tangle Teaser' or at least Superdrug's version of it. It's so much better than a wide tooth comb both on dry and wet hair. And, it means that more hair strands stay on my head, than in the comb!

End of the day sammi can use whatever curlers she likes and i doubt she would use them if she didnt like them or recommend them as she doesnt seem the type of person to talk about a product she doesnt like just because they are paying her! If i liked a product and they wanted me to use it in a video and they were going to pay me, wouldnt you say yes please? everyone would! Some people need to get a grip. Its exactly the same as someone featuring something in a video they arent getting sponsored by. the only difference is it says sponsored by in the down bar. and im just gunna say there are some youtubers that overdo it when they are getting sponsored and it sounds really fake and like an advert when they say the products name so many times. but this video i didnt even know was sponsored until i read comments then looked at down bar. A weave is fake hair, amd it looks like hair.

Alexandra Eleventhing it's not always fake hair. A weave can be sourced from human hair, like Sammi's is (as she has previously mentioned and does in this video). :)

When she said fake hair, she meant it's not growing out of a human scalp, not that it is actually fake hair. Weave isn't growing from your head, it's added on, thus why she referred to it as fake, regardless if it's real or non real human hair. ANYONE could be wearing a wig, real or not, and if someone asked anyone if that person wearing the wig has real or fake hair, the answer would be fake, cuz it's a wig.

Thank you so much for the tutorial... I love the look! I have super curly hair which is more on the coarse side I'm going to try the irons. I think this will definitely help smooth out better than the old style clamp one I have.... Just a FYI. I heard you say you "towel" dry your hair. I recently got a tip from a friend who also has curly hair and suggested that I try a knit instead of a reg towel. I bought some tshirt knit (or you can steal your bf's tshirt...lol) and it makes a HUGE difference. The towels always ruffed up the cuticle in my hair leaving it frizzy, the knit doesn't and absorbs really nicely. No more friz :)
