I regret watching that closing scene, but on a related note, Ken and I both got some mild food poisoning the last night there. I was in a panic about trying to drive the 8 hrs home the next morning, haha!

I loved it man! You're very lucky to have this park in your backyard. What's it like being there during this virus? As far as I could tell there wasn't much around the town.
@rhammitt884 жыл бұрын
@@CobraKyle yeah man I can't wait for all of this to be over so I can hit the trails for the first time. I hate it took me this long to get into biking. Honestly man, not a whole lot has changed. The end of March is when the Ski resort opens and then they don't open the bike park till later on may so April is always a crazy quiet month. We are quite a bit removed from the craziness thankfully.

Nice video. I’m headed there next week. Being from Miami and at sea level, I’m concerned with the altitude and breathing. Does it take a toll on you when riding down the trails or just when pedaling? I went to Breckinridge a while back and it took me a couple of days to acclimate. 🤟🏼
@CobraKyle3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I struggled a good amount the first day with the elevation. I live in Texas, so pretty flat here too. I believe Angel's Plunge was the trail that you actually have to climb a fair amount up to. If going for a couple days, I'd save that for day two or even 3! Just drink more water than you normally would, enjoy the breaks on the lift, and have a rad time. I loved Angel Fire!
@dennisrod58083 жыл бұрын

I've only been to Evolution in Crested Butte and Spider Mountain. Do you ever consider getting an Enduro bike for riding park? Great edit btw!!
@CobraKyle5 жыл бұрын
Evolution looks fun. The Jeffsy does really well for a trail bike since it's got 150mm of travel front and rear. I'd be curious to try something like the capra at Spider someday.
