Thank you for this interesting video. I have the Angel and was just considering to buy the Nama instead because I thought it should be easier to clean. Oftentimes I don’t make juice only because I want to avoid the cleansup, especially in the evening when I’m tired. I‘m astonished that you say the cleanup time is about the same. May I annotate 3 things about the Angel: A) I don’t know exactly what you mean by the gears being stuck, but for removing the filter from the machine and the gears one can simply press the reverse button and it comes off by itself. B) Thinner things are processed much more easily, so if you cut the carrots lengthwise you don‘t have to push much at all. C) Juice running out between machine and filter: This can perhaps happen when juice flows back because the machine is overfilled. If you look into the funnel you can see the mush being processed. Simply wait for some seconds until it is transported forward and then put in the next produce. This way nothing ever leaked from my machine.

Thanks for honest review. I think angel users tend to over sell it to justify the money spent. Yes it does have higher yield, but the time and effort doesnt seem to justify it over the modern juicers.

@@protochris I agree that the Nama J2 wins on convenience and time savings.

Thank you for the comparison between the two juicers. I have the Angel juicer for 12 years now and lately I got my eyes on the Nama J2 because it obviously is more convenient. I searched for comparisons all through the internet but your video is the only one I've found. As I mainly juice greens, I am thankful for your honest review on how the Nama copes with this kind of stuff. so as cleaning time is the same, yield is higher with the Angel and it also sucks in leafy greens like a breeze without getting stuck I made my decision and will stay with my Angel-baby until death will us part!! Thanks again for helping me making up my mind and saving 600+ bucks

@@ShlomoBerggruen I do like the Angel if you are doing lots of roots and leafy greens. The Nama J2 allows for more multitasking in the kitchen though.

You could use the nama to juice for fast juicing, then put the pulp from the nama J2 in the Angel juicer if you had the money ofc 😅

Great video. I use Angel and it allows to juice different produce which I believe would be difficult for other juicer. And the yield is exceptional. For typical veggies Nama could be a better choice though.

Hi, With the Nama j2 as compared to angel Juicer, is anyone concerned about Nama using plastic part to grind veg, as opposed to stainless steel parts in angel...I know Nama is easier to use, but I'm interested in what has most healing benefits.. your thoughts? Thanks

@@chelsiewiltshire I am not sure which would be more hygenic or less toxic. That would probably take some intense materials science research to determine.
