Use my Nama J2 religiously. Also have the mason jars with the plastic lids so i can spend a half day juicing all different kinds of juice and freeze them for convenience. Thanks for sharing 👍🏾

@lionlamb2702 no as long as you don't fill them all the way up. Gotta have room for the liquid to expand once it starts to freeze

Mine arrived August 8th 2024 and IMMEDIATELY used it and was disappointed because it didn't get as much juice from the veggies as my old school juicer did and I was going to send it back the next day for a refund. I didn't see a big difference BUT my friend suggested that I try again with fresher veggies, so the next morning I went to the grocery store and bought new veggies and only washed the ones I was going to juice right then and OMG, this thing is AMAZING. The trick is to only wash the veggies that you intend to use right then because they will start dehydrating sooner and you won't get no where near as much juice. I used the same amt of veggies that I normally do with my other juicer and I got 1/4 more than normal. The pulp IS TOTALLY dry. The clean up was about the same as the regular juicer. I give this an A+.

I didn't get this to make smoothies because I still love my vitamix lol. Now Nama just came out with a C2 which is a blender/juicer combo but I don't have that

Do you have the sorbet attachment? If so, do you like it? Do you use the smoothie attachment? I’ve never used mine and wonder if I’m missing out. I’m thinking of getting the sorbet and strainer attachement. I see you have the strainer but you did not use it here. When do you strain versus not strain your juice?

I have the sorbet attachment but I don’t make many smoothies or sorbets in the winter time 😂 even when I was in college I LOVED smoothies but I didn’t make them in the winter (it’s too cold for that lol I hate being cold) but the sorbet attachment is good! Now I have never used the smoothie attachment in the 2 years of me having the J2 and that’s just because I love using my vitamix still for smoothies. As far as straining, that is up to you and your preference! I usually strain if I have celery, carrots, or beets (personal preference)

@@LifeWithBrianaLeigh I’m a crazy smoothie girl, even in the winter 😂 and I live up north in Canada😅🤪 but i use my Vitamix also for smoothies. Thanks for your help. When it gets warmer you’ll have to make sorbet videos 😀
