Nope. Angel Reese was injured. LSU would actually put a better fight. LSU were former champions, Iowa wasn't. LSU lost to Iowa because one,Angel was injured, two,they didn't play them with the same intensity. LSU made it all the way to the finals and won. Iowa couldn't do that.

South Carolina beat LSU in the season, and won the conference championship--it'd have been the same exact thing in the championship game. LSU is like 0-5 vs South Carolina, might be 0-6 since Reese got there. It's not even a close comparison. Clark is 1-1 vs South Carolina. Also, it is considered that Angel wasn't even the best player on the team as Johnson was the best player last year, and was a better player the year before than Reese was.
