Clark brings more viewers to women's basketball in one game than the WNBA does in their entire season

You're right. If Clark signs with Indiana just check the attendance at home. Also, check the road attendance when she plays in various cities against the normal attendance in those cities. --- She will singlehandedly raise ticket prices and cause more sell-outs than the WNBA has had in it's 30 year history. ( has there ever been a regular season sell-out in the WNBA?)

@imCazzy It is a misunderstanding of systematic vs individual racism. Black people cannot be systemically racist because blacks do not control wealth or the power structure. Whereas, whites can be individually racist, and they also benefit from systematic racism. This is where black folks have a misunderstanding. Black people can be bigoted. Black people can be prejudice. But not racist. Racism is a power structure that has the ability to suppress an entire group of people. Black people in America do not have the power to do so. Black people can name call and say all types of ignorant things about others, but do not have the power to subjugate an entire race of people. Give me a time in American history where Black people had the power to suppress another group of people? Colonize whole countries and force their will upon them? It takes power to do so, which Black people just do not have. That’s the definition of race-ism.

@@vitigaymer1053 So true. Indian, Korean, Chinese, Asians, everybody is racist against somebody. You can randomly name a country and Google "Racism in Blank" and there will be a report on who those people hate. Mostly people close to them who are just like them. Serbs and Croats. Irish Catholics and Protestants. English and Scotts. On and on. Heck, the big hit movie Black Panther was all about African superiority dating back centuries and racism against whites. Not even subtle about it. I had a native Hawaiian girlfriend who was a beautiful Hawaiian Tropic modal. Asians viewed her as a "poor boat girl" because she was tan - which is a big deal in Hawaii. Yet the other Asians saw being tan as being a poor rural uneducated country girl in their countries, and the city girls all hid from the sun to look lighter. Crazy humans.

Be thankful because in the next 7 years with this new set of college women joining the WNBA their ratings definitely gonna go up because all these girls have a huge fan base so people will watch the WNBA Games. It started when Dawn Stanley starting five entered the draft which is the reason a lot of people started back watching. For real tho. And even if that was the case, does that mean anytime a record is broken, it means nothing because it wasn't broken faster than it was set? The WNBA gets a BIG YAWN from this fan! Clark is making a huge mistake leaving Iowa a year early. And so is Reese. They are leaving the packed arenas and rabid fan base of college ball and going to the half empty WNBA games and very little (microscopic!) media coverage. Oh, there will some initial buzz for the teams drafting Clark, Reese and others but that will fade when the tedium of WNBA becomes a reality. We can still watch South Carolina, UConn, USC, UCLA and other quality college teams next year.
