This is such a heartbreaking story. Had me in tears. I have 3 kids of my own, 8yrs old, 6yr old and 3yr old. I am an orphan myself. This story breaks my heart so much. I cannot imagine putting my kids in that situation. I am 32yrs old but still yearn for my parents love and support. Sadly they passed away. No matter what happens I will never give up my kids. The only time they will ever be without me is if I am no longer in this world. I don’t understand how people can just leave their kids to foster care, or families.. so sad

Some ppl will never understand what orphans been thru. I'm not an orphan but my spouse is and it is so sad and heartbroken to see when his relatives turn him down. I remembered when he wanted to marry me and he went to ask his relatives for help. They turned him down unless he's already got money. My parents didn't make it hard for him when we got married bc they know his situation. He has blood siblings but everybody gotta make a living so we all suffered for a very long time. We both went back to school and now living a good life with our 4 beautiful children. His relatives just started to accept us a couple years ago. Sad that some ppl only want to love and reach out when we're successful. I'm so sorry you lost both your parents at such a young age.

What a sad story🥲 It breaks my heart listening to this story!💔 I’m sure your parents love you and siblings, but sometimes people make bad choices in life. Be thankful for your foster family(parents) that they opened their home for you. You and your siblings are very lucky to live in the USA. If you were lived in Laos, you three probably end up being sold to some rich Hmoob families and making you become slaves as little kids until the day you marry and move out of their lives😭 I grew up in Laos and that’s what happened to me and my sister because dad die and the uncles took us away from my mom and they made us work for them 24/7 from morning until dusk💔 life is never fair😭 God to bless you and your siblings!!!

It is good thing that your uncle let you go to foster homes. Your life maybe worse living with your Uncles's family and your parent's. Hmong orphans are in worse situation such as physical and mentally abuse. I understand that you lost your parents and you then also loss your sibling to a different foster home and the miss for your family members but in the other hand you each in a home that provide enough foods, clothing and worm home to go to. Thanks to the court system for watch out for orphans kids.

This is what happens when parents are selfish and do hard drugs and become addicts. The ones who suffer the most are the children. Thank goodness you live in the U.S. and have the foster care system to help you and your siblings. Hmong people put so much importance and weight on their clan and yet where was her father's clan when these kids needed a home? Stories like this tell me this clan thing is worthless, because the clan didn't take care of its own. If not for the foster care system these kids would have become homeless.

Lady, those of us that have no one are call "DOG" in this life time. Especially Hmong relatives; they wait for us to give up and fail; they are happy when bad things happen to us; they smile when they see us struggle. When we refuse to die or give up; they hate us because their life enjoyment is to see us fail but can't because somehow GOD isn't giving them the satisfaction. If you are a fellow "DOG" in this world; know that you are not alone; we struggle along with you everyday; know that there are millions of us around you and haven't given up. GOD isn't done with you yet; don't give anyone the satisfaction in seeing your fail, make those haters regret they bet against us by staying alive and doing well. Love you fellow "DOG" take care.
@magicalunicorn58532 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your story sister. There’s more and more Hmong children in foster care, many with learning disabilities and autism. Hmong parents need to stop having kids if they are on drugs or cannot produce kids that are normal. This is very sad 😞but you took your environment and made a life for yourself. You can do it all by yourself and therefore can do anything! Your parents were so selfish and only thought of themselves.

so sad there are so many of these young hmong kids and teens homeless bc of stupid parents. my mom ran into one during a short temp job she did. a lady talk so much shit bout him bc he stays with her. her son brought him to come stay with them. both his parents didn't want him. I wonder to this day where he is. it was just a one day temp n my mom shared her lunch with him n spoke to him. that's also a time my dad had cancer n there wasn't a way to help. the met only during lunch n she never saw him again. I hope he's found better living situations 😭

The uncle is weak and heartless just like his sister and bil. If I was the uncle I would give wife the ultimatum to divorce her if she doesn’t love the 3 nieces and nephew. In this country, orphan or foster kids have their money to feed them. They just need guardians and a place of warmth.

I am so sorry for your childhood. You’ve lost so much and endure so much pain at such a young age. No children should ever have to experience such heartbreak. I am glad that God continued to watch over you and your siblings and made sure you were all well provided, had a roof over your head, food on the table. Although your foster parents would have never been able to take your parents place, I’m happy to hear that they were good to you all. I’m happy to hear that you guys found each other. May god bless you all and help you three build a relationship that you longed for for many many years! May he continue to provide for you all, give you comfort, peace, and bless you all with happiness from here on out!
