Hmong men's are despicable. You knew she had a boyfriend she loved yet you still kidnapped her and forced her into marriage knowing all that. Yet your so insecure and jealous to a point that your controlling, manipulative and raging jealousy. Instead of loving her you tormented her and made her life and your life a living hell full of misery. Would've been better to find yourself your own girlfriend and married her.

Blame it on Hmong's religion. If Hmong have it Hmong's way, this sort of thing would continue to this day. Fortunately, the US, Thai, Lao, Chinese governments don't allow it that's why it sort of stopped... but still happens in Hmong villages where the village is run by Hmong. They just do it quietly so we and the government don't know. The animism/shamanism religion of the Hmong is also to blame because in Hmong religion, once "lim qaib" has been performed, the girl is now part of the kidnapper's family in life and in death. This means she can't go back to her family and her family no longer want her back. If she runs back or divorce and go back to her family, if she gives birth, she will have to give birth outside, if she dies, she won't get any funeral rituals. Blame it on her parents too. They don't and won't protect their daughters. Most parents will tell, even force, their daughters to marry her kidnapper. Back then, if you have money, power or lots of relatives, you can force any and every woman to marry you... even those as young as 9 years old... even if she's already married, you can threaten the husband to divorce her so you can marry her and if he refuses to divorce, he's usually found dead or never be found at all. Hmong said Chinese and Vietnamese are bad but Hmong doesn't look at Hmong's bad side. If Hmong were to have a country, Hmong women would be treated worst than Muslim women so instead a burka with cutouts for 2 eyes, Hmong's burka will only have 1 eye... like a pirate... hahahahaha.

99% of all the girls forced to marry now love their kidnappers. Some even said that they're glad their kidnapper forced them to marry because if they were to marry their boyfriend, they would be poor, beaten, divorced or widowed because their boyfriend, who they once can't live without, is now poor, a wife beater, divorced or dead. Most of the old couples you see that are still married got married by bride-kidnapping because it's a common practice back then. It's uncommon now but it still happens... even in the US cuz I saw it with my own eyes in the US. Even back then, some girls wanted their boyfriends to kidnap them because they want face. To be bride-napped means the girl is pretty and valuable that's why she got bride-napped.
