I think it’s important to have discussions with people with different opinions in order to create a dialogue and it also helps keep ourselves accountable for our own arguments and to build on our arguments so that we can reach a broader demographic of people who would otherwise dismiss us.

Of course it is. And the dead-last straw was asking her mostly about her fame, which is not an important subject matter for Davis.

My grandpa was apart of the black Panthers, unfortunately he passed when I was only two years old. I wish I had more time with him to learn more about the black culture and know more about my ancestors and roots. Angela is a true definition of inspiration! ❤️

I recall as a teen in the ‘70’s of a newspaper article of a white elderly judge being held hostage by a group of militants who were being supplied guns by Angela Davis. It was shocking. Unforgivable.
