We have more than 2 parties which means that by default all parties get less votes compared to the nonsense that is called a voting system in both the UK (where a PM gets a whopping 80 seat majority with just 42 % of the votes) and the USA (a 2-party system where the party that actually won the vote in 2016 still didn't ascend to power and the candidate who lost the vote - Trump - became president). Also, Germany is a perfectly safe place, way WAY more so than both the USA (which is a country with sky high crime and murder rates per capita) and the UK )a country with lots of hate crimes committed by right wing extremist Brexiteers).

I can give you some names. 1. Merkel admires Erdogan and was his number 1 supporter throughout his horrible crimes he committed and keeps committing in Germany as well. (How many countries Erdo destabilized with her help?) 2. Merkel does have her hand in destabilization of Ukraine with subsequent war in the east, of course Russia is the aggressor , however Merkel made sure this will happen, by encouraging Ukrainian side promising support and ditching them once she got what she wanted. 3. My brother lives in Germany for over 15 years now, in neubrandenburg, 15 years ago it felt safe for me, now me a dude of 90kg I am keep on looking back when walking there. (Unstable Germany) 4. Refugee crisis was completely Merkels design. (Unstable EU) 5. EU being completely disunited is mostly Merkels fault, she was acting as de facto leader of EU when nobody gave her that authority. Her foreign policies in general were damaging not only for Germany but for the entire world starting from Poland to Singapore. Those things I said are just surface level topics that you’d be able to verify by simple google search. But she was cruel, in my opinion Germany and Germans should focus on their internal issues(which are plenty) and stop pretending to be the good cop of the world

Indeed, pandemic aside, the unemployment crisis started in France in the 90s. At least this is what has been supported by the media, the employers, and has been corroborated by the economic statistics during all these years. That said, since the presidency of Emmanuel Macron, young French people seem more optimistic and serene about their future, even if finding a job remains a concern for them. We could only be glad and recognizing for this. But effectively, it emerges, from european news, that indeed Germany seems to have been spared by this major crisis, just as the EU has apparently been very far from these concerns. Women however, having been the most concerned but partly invisible by their absence on work world. Thank you for your reply and your interest on the matter :)

From a german perspective he actually seems to be a very good president for france who tries a lot of sometime unpopular but necessary reforms. Also a lot of young germans share his enthusiasm for european solutions to big problems and most were very disappointed by our governments negligent response to Macrons ideas. Her legacy is one with a mixed reputation. She did many good things but there were also some controversial decisions. The refugee crisis has truly split the opinions of people but I‘d personally say as a German that she was quite good. She wasn‘t as fun as Gerhard Schröder (who always cracked a good joke) but she was always quite competent. She saved Germany from the 2008 recession, gave Germany unstopped economic growth (until COVID happened), managed to get Germany‘s lowest crimesreport ever (since 2019 onwards) and made East Germany experience its biggest economic boom ever! And these are only a few things. Regardless of what you think of Merkel, her successor will have a lot to do.

That'll be decided on Sunday. In Germany the chancellor is not elected directly by the people. People vote for parties and whoever gets the most votes is put in charge of putting together a governing coalition and the national parliament has to confirm the nominee for chancellor put forth by the winning party.
