Merkel will win, the party even remotely close to challenging her is even more left-wing than her in the centre-left SPD whereas her party is centre-right. Trump was a 50/50 chance, even a coin flip could have guessed he'd win especially as the polls where always close and Hillary was a very flawed candidate and the Russian backing helped. Brexit was always close from the start and most people in the UK were historically very disapproving about it but the politicians thought they could scare people into voting remain, which worked for some but the underestimated the pain caused by austerity. I believe if Farage kept his mouth shut especially keeping his racist posters hidden, then Leave vote would have been bigger as his stupidity made Leave a bit toxic and most Brits don't want to be associated with him, only his UKIP supporters love him; proof being that he couldn't even win a safe election seat in a supposedly pro-UKIP, anti-immigrant area.

i've seen his art... i don't even think he would have been accepted to Parsons or Pratt he wasn't even THAT good at drawing...when you enter art school you have to have SOME grasp of the basics. (mostly in showing depth) and he didn't really have that. his graphite drawings lacked the darker shade values to even be considered good art ability. his painted landscapes were okay though...but still he didn't show depth and shadow.
