That's exactly what I was going to say it's really hard to believe they were raised by the same mom but me and my sister were raised by the same mom and dad and my mom said from when I was born she could tell I was the complete opposite of my sister so I do know it's very possible and happens a lot - Angela's brother just seems like a good ole country boy ...

Chris seemed to see through most the wagner 's ways including his own sister. He really didn't say anything bad about George. Just can't believe not one person had the strength or willl to do the right thing and stop this. Why doesn't George get on the stands when tge defense presents its case and tell the truth instead of waiting for his mother and brother to turn states witness against him ? It is not too kate to change his plea

She was definitely the methodical, Narcissist!!! I was in a similar situation with my first babies Daddy s mom, She wouldn't stop,I lived in a completely different state, and was constantly harassed by her calling CPS,after I interfered with their visitation, and when they caught up with me my daughter was ripped from my neck, and I was 8 Mos pregnant with my next daughter, Very Long Story short, They had $ and I was 21,just had another child,I couldn't offer her what they could,I couldn't cut her in half, and I knew her dads mom had always wanted a daughter, and she would have the best of everything, just never counted on them brainwashing her against me.. 😭

This poor man, I can't imagine having to be up in front of the court reliving what happened. Chris seems like an honest, caring, and utterly believable witness. The way he speaks, trying so hard to be respectful, but you know he just wants the whole situation to go away and to beat the perpetrators, then never see or think about them ever again. He's the kind of man all the jurors can relate to: caring, honest, hardworking, and doing his very best to do the right thing. No matter how many people are called as witnesses after him, everyone in the courtroom will remember his testimony and his words will carry a great deal of weight when they decide what will happen to the defendant.

Go back now, knowing that he was involved in their scam(s) with them, and watch from 40:30...The tells, and the signs of deception he exhibits are glaring. IMMEDIATELY he starts getting fidgety, touching his face, swiveling back and forth, deep breaths, fake yawns, his blink rate increases dramatically at times, he starts to look down-breaking eye contact, often.) All the sudden, his memory; which was failsafe until this point, starts to fail him. He was in a life threatening accident, but wasn't immediately sure if it was just he and Jake in the truck? His truck "broke down" and he called George to come get him. He "can't remember" if George took the truck back, or where George was at the time of the accident?? Jake either swerved to MISS a deer, or they actually HIT a deer...he can't remember?? (He can't remember which story they told the insurance investigator, that's what he can't remember.) How many millions of times has the "swerved to miss a ..." story been used in the history of time, right? He admits to going to a doctor to get pills and then (seemingly unknowingly) admits to selling them to Billy. The fake yawn at around 49:32 that he does is cringeworthy. (He does a couple of those along the way after the wreck story, when he's nervous.) When she asks he if he poached deer with them, it's almost comical, the look on his face when he answers, and how fast he starts swiveling in the chair. This guy is a liar, he's a schemer, and he seems to have fooled quite a few people along the way.

Oh George is guilty too. I don’t think he actually shot anyone. I believe his brother Jake shot 7 people and his Dad Billy shot 1 according to Jake’s confession. It’s confusing because Dad is George too, but they call him Billy. Actually, much of the time (per Jake) George hid behind his dad or was the lookout. Anyways, in Ohio (I am from OH) him being there, participating in critical moments, helping plot, hide, etc he is just as guilty and is looking to spend the rest of his life in prison. At this point the is probably just trying to bet a shot at parole after 20-30’years. It’s not likely though. Unfortunately, their mom controlled and manipulated them for so long they could have been convinced into doing just about anything. Well anything because look at this.

after hearing Jake's accounting of the chain of events... please don't get me wrong i despise Jake! But I was such a fan of this dude! now... Does anyone feel like he didn't stay true under oath? is it just me? shinning deer (btw illegal) poaching.. I always felt like these are the same thing! Then there's the wreck that nearly killed Chris! Angela (prosecutor) ask if he knew it was planned? he didn't really lie but did he? idk he said it wasn't on purpose on his end... question was did he know that was the plan?

Oh they filled the hole in the wall. For me it still begs the question why George if so emanzipated from his mum was okay with her awful behaviour regarding his then wife. It's strange that he was ok for his wife to leave the bedroom every night and for mummy to come in and give him back scratches and telling them how to raise their son...

I said the same thing a few weeks ago about the hole in the wall. It looks like they painted the whole wall bc it looked like 💩 for TV. 😂 The back scratches was weird especially at that age.

It seems like George was kind of used by his family. I feel like they knew they needed to include him, because it was too big of a plan to be able to hide from him, but on the other hand... its likely they knew if the made him involved, they knew he wouldn't tell anyone because he would have to implicate himself, too. I don't even think George was able to pull the trigger on any of the victim's (I remember seeing somewhere that only Billy and Jake actually shot anyone). I definitely get the feeling that this is something George would have never done without the pressure of his family. I don't think its something he even wanted to take part in. By no means am I saying he's not just as responsible for this horrific tragedy as his brother, father, and mother... I'm just saying that it seems like George was pulled into something he didn't really want to be a part of. Ofcouse he could have went to police once he knew that his parents and brother were talking about and planning these murders, and there is no justification for him not doing that. I get the sense that he was brought up to not go against family no matter what, and even even he doesn't agree with them, he goes along anyway. Jake seems like he was more like his mother... always wanting to be in control of any situation, being overly picky and needing things to be his way or no way, where George seems more like a go-with-the-flow type.

Angela ask George in one of the wiretaps if he'd taken care of the truck Chris stole. Heard Jake implicated Chris in several family scams including the truck accident insurance fraud. Chris is a charming but I think he's not as innocent as he is trying to come off. I think his family committing these murders has scared him enough to get a real job and stop his " horse trading" ways. He'll be lucky if insurance company doesn't come after him. IMO

How can a Prosecutor Stumble Thru Questions so Much? Half of these questions to Angela's brother She Never Knew what his answers would be!! This is serious, How could she call him and ask so many family dynamics questions but not know what he would answer? This is a Rediculious way to approach this job. Her co-worker Does A Much Better Job, and He Should Have Been Questioning Many More Witnesses. He Would have Done A Much Better Job With Opening Statements Also! This Prosecutor seems like she's nice to Angela's family, jolly & laughing. But She Treated Dana's family with Zero Sympathy. She had an image failure in her opening, it was pretty Ummm Ummm Ummm Ummm Awful, Jumpy, Jumbled & seemed practiced. I think she spent more on her hair than the demonstration items.

I think he convinced himself his family couldn’t do such a thing. After Jake confessed I think A BUNCH of things started to come together in his head that he blinded himself to before. Like when they mentioned Wagnar’s properties catching on fire and he mentioned the statue that appeared in their new digs that was in their old ones that was destroyed. He finally saw the light in how despicable that part of his family was and he didn’t hold back here. Well that is unless the defense was trying to shut him up.

What a good natured Ohio country boy. Quite familiar with them since I am from there myself. I hated seeing him have to hold back how upset he was that his own sister created this mess and involved his Momma too. I would have loved to be able to hear him say everything that is on his mind and in his heart. He deserves to be able to publicly get it off his chest. I liked that he hung them out to dry in other things too because he was no longer gonna be keeping secrets for these low life’s.
