I get there's legal and medical "rules" (ew) and...drs are people too, w bad days and heavy loads. Ethically though, health care professionals have the ability, with some effort, to care...and should- esp for the most vulnerable without the capacity to help themselves.

It's a lot to be an advocate for mentally ill. You have to get the courts to appoint you, then you're responsible for what they do. Until they turn on you and you get hurt. It's not that simple, I'm afraid.

I would be willing to bet that there was some sexual abuse in her childhood because you can see how she feels so nasty she cant spray enough perfume on herself...even her privates to not feel dirty.Not a dirt-dirty but like her mind tells her shes a dirty person..not just skin deep.Sexual abuse at a young age is linked to mental illness and drug use.I am not a psychologist but I am a paramedic who has dealt with people and know how they think and can link trauma in their past to current issues.Its a vicious cycle.Lord deliver her in the name of Jesus.

Art - please ask Angela if you can go back with her to talk to the doctor. She needs an advocate to ask them to look over her issues, and ask questions that Angela wouldn't think to ask. Also, I'm sure she'll need referrals from the ER doc. One for her arm, an ophthalmologist for her eye, and surely a psychiatrist for her meds. Praying for you both!

The hospital ER( ?) may not consider this an emergency . They may want her to be scheduled with the appropriate outpatient specialists for both her eye and her arm. It is a start. I am glad that you are planning on taking her tomorrow Art. I do believe that her eye should take priority. She may still have vision in that eye if the physical barrier ( tissue) is removed. I hope that you are able to accompany her including in exam room inorder to advocate for her. Unfortunately, people often get ignored and sometimes mistreated . Your watchful and participating prescence will make a difference. Please discuss with Angela so that she understands and therefore hopefully will agree to you being there and talking to the to doctor / nurse . Wishing the best for you and Angela tomorrow.🙏❤️

Actually sadly you are wrong about her eye that thing has been there for way too long she has already lost the vision in it and for how long it has been sadly it's permanently blind I know this because my daughter has double ptosis its a lazy eye and a lazy eyelid and was told by the top specialist in the world that if your pupil is covered and isn't used for longer than a year then you will go blind in that eye thankfully my daughter had corrective surgery on her eye to save her eye sight but Angela is past that so yes the thing needs to be removed but she has permanently lost her vision in that eye sadly

I’m going to pray tonight that after Art gets Angela cleaned up and in her outfit tomorrow that she’ll go to the hospital. And I pray the doctors and nurses treat her with compassion and help her. I’m not so worried about the lipoma… it’s the eye I’m worried about. And maybe they’ll prescribe her meds she needs for the schizophrenia. Maybe Art or Frank could hold onto them and give them to her daily. Its a lot to hope for but she can’t do it on her own she needs help. She’s a lost soul who deserves a chance. Hi all, I can't help but feel her pain, but she is tuff as old boots, I only noticed thar her vains are in her arm swelling I taught it was only a blister or cist of some kind, it will only grow bigger and bigger as it has in the past few months. Her cyst isn't causing her pain so you have to convince her it's harmful. It is if it grows big enough to burst. It can become systemic. Her eye will not change but I'm glad her leg healed. I'm so greatful you are helping her. She's dehydrated & can't keep up. Unfortunately, hospitals will do minimum of care if she's combative. 🙏

Art keeps giving her energy drinks. Those drinks are for boosting energy. She is probably high-strung all the time, and energy drinks are known to cause crashes after being up for hours. Oh Art this was the first time iv seen Angela whole heartedly trusts you, That speaks volumes.
