Legal Docs For Cleaning Biz... It's official you're in business and need documents for your house-cleaning business! When you start a house cleaning business, it's important to have written agreements in place, instead of verbal agreements, to reinforce the working relationship with your clients- including an initial walkthrough with the homeowner to discuss the rules and regulations of the service, as well as any specific requests or needs that the homeowner may have. The written agreement should outline the roles of both the client and the maid and can be used to clarify any misunderstandings or disputes that may arise in the future.

To me it doesn't sound like a business without documents, probably getting cash and not having to pay taxes on the money etc, that's not a business. This is a awesome video, it's very very important to have documentation!

I'm thinking I would like to incorporate the worksheet idea into my business. When you mentioned in the video that you give them a "copy", are your worksheets like a carbonless form, or do you simply use two worksheets and cross off/add on the custom requests and leave one with them, keeping one?
