Girl!!! I am subscribed to a lot of DIY channels and yours has quickly become one of my top 5 favorites! You are so talented and good at what you do. Watching videos like yours teaches me so much and gives me the confidence to dream up and build or repurpose something else for the things I want. When I see decor items in stores or online that I like, it's hard for me not to not to say, "I can make that for a lot less." and I know I'll enjoy doing it and feel proud it. I hope you feel proud of your projects even when they don't turn out like you wanted. I have to say, I feel "totally connected" to you when you knock your camera off the table, mis-speak a word, fumble a screw...again and again, can't get a shelf level and say, "screw it!" (🤣"screw it") all those things that make you (and me) real and imperfect!😂Not being apologetic and being able to laugh at ourselves keeps us happy instead of being frustrated all the time. I love that you leave those things in your videos....if for no other reason, so I can feel like I'm not alone!😂 We just gotta be we!

Oh girl believe me you are not alone! That is definitely why I leave all of my mistakes in my videos. I used to think my videos and projects had to be perfect but now I like to show the journey and the process because that is what matters. I am the same way when I see home decor shopping I always think “I can make that” and be proud of the work that we do!
