Thank you so much, Becky! So pleased you are keen to give this one a try. It is a little complicated, but once you have tried it (use a sheet of plain copier paper to practice), you will use this idea often. Really a great one, in my opinion. On the spine for the altered book; I used an Edith Holden Book, which has a 1 inch spine, but in hindsight, a wider one would work a lot better. 1.5 - 2 inches would result in far less of a gator mouth. Yes, I can do so, Lenore. I will be making a similar cover to the ones we have made before, but decorating it slightly differently. So look out for your fabric. I have a light blue checked gingham fabric for mine. Hugs and smiles 🦋🧁☺️🌷💗

You know none of us are going to criticize you for receiving 2 packages from Amazon in 5 mins. Most of us are guilty of that. Especially when Covid first started and no shops were open. It was all day long a package would come from someplace.

Hahaha!! Oh yes, I don't get packages all the time, rather that he just should have given me both parcels at the same time. LOL. Yes, but I will put up my hand, as I do order most things from Amazon. It is super quick and no delivery charge and their prices are very competitive. Where I live the shops on the Hight Street are very poor and limited with their offerings and not a craft shop for miles. Even less of them since Lockdown. I also don't need to look and pay for parking! Win win all round I say. You are right about how much we all used them then. I hardly visit a supermarket anymore either.
