I love the new shirts that are cropped just above the hips. They're great for hiding "the roll". A long t-shirt over your belly just gives pregnancy vibes. The shorter cropped shirts over high waisted pants are fantastic for slimming the silhouette.

The longer shacket has a plaid pattern which doesn’t match (front to back), that disqualifies a garment (in my opinion). I like the Pencil skirt with a belt which takes it up a notch 🌟

Angela, for ladies with hips, I'm thinking you should avoid that black cardigan falling at top of hips, accentuating the hip concern. The outfit with leopard belt, shoes was REALLY cute. Sometimes we need neutrals, good accessories more than lots of flowered tops/pants.

Love the pink flutter sleeve top. Years ago Macy's carried a Lauren by Ralph Lauren top like that with crocheted flutter sleeves & V neck trim. I bought it in bright orange & hot pink. There was also a turquoise blue but I tried not to go crazy. Still kicking myself all these years later. Dang.

I ordered the pink/gray/white plaid shacket upon your recommendation. I’ve seen the shorter shackets, and they look bulky. This one which is longer looks more flattering and less like a “lumber jack”.

I get on kicks every year. This year skirts. Now I’m adding boots and tights or opaque ones with boots for fall. I found a cute grey skirt at goodwill earlier this year. Black boots and tights oh ya. Angela I am new to your channel and just love you and your suggestions and styles! I literally ran out to old navy (which I haven’t been in that store in years and years) and got that puff arm Henley. To be honest I would not have even given that top a look without seeing it on you and how you paired it with so much. Then I ordered the belts and the necklace. The necklace is what they call a paper clip link and I had two already. But my bird just passed on Monday and thought the letter would remind me of her which happens to be my letter anyway.
