We are continually seeing videos of our mundane lives before social media. Every single comment says I'd go back in a min. Why aren't we? The internet is an awesome much needed tool.. however social media IS NOT. Talking on the phone to a lived one is phenomenal. Nearing their voice is priceless. A text saying the same exact things is just blah. There is zero connection. Friends on fb. Are we really friends? No. Why should they know our private lives. We can FaceTime our loved ones who don't live nearby. Everyone on Social media needs to pause for 3 to 6 months. Let's see how our relationships & mental health improves. Im ready.

My grandson who is now twelve went through an Axe phase. I would almost get sick. And I told him to quit doing that. When I worked I used to use perfume so I wouldn’t smell like body odor. I worked outside and would get hot and sweaty. But I didn’t want to smell like body odor. No one ever mentioned that I had on too much perfume. But I did wear it everyday. I think most of us older people do all the things you said as number nine. I will always hold the door. So thank you and a whole other of other things to other people. I will lose my husband from him holding the door for other people. We’re trying to teach our grandson how to be a gentleman too. And he will do it automatically too. I’m not so sure about his sisters. I think they might, but only if we say something. One is going to have a baby, so she will see how much it helps when she’s lugging a baby around. We live in the south, and I think most people down here are more courteous than where we used to live. And it’s mostly older people. We were raised differently than kids today. So as grandparents we are trying to instill good manners for our grandkids.

I'm plus size. I am going through menopause and sweat all of the time. Being plus size, I can't wear skorts. I'm short and look ridiculous in the cool looking wider pants. I wear skirts and dresses and jeans. The asymmetrical top actually helps me have a shape. I buy from Torid or Maurices. I hope medically I get figured out so I can wear my skinny clothes again because there aren't that many options for women of size. I sit in my closet crying because I'm trying to look good, but you have to feel good inside as well. I know you're trying to help, but short plus size women have a harder time. No one mentions this. I don't want to be overweight. I tried being vegetarian for 6 years and couldn't lose weight. I lost my thyroid as well. I'm at the point where this summer I'm just going to throw on a dress and go. I've tried so much. 😢
