I love Frank’s books, Angela’s Ashes should be required reading. What an outlook it gives one on the blessings of life, even when they seem few.

Sad Frank is not here anymore... I love alphie and brothers just from the book. Amazing how all of them were able to educate themselves from and.change their lifes from such a poverty life

Why did they open the school at Leamy's? I thought that that was the school where Frank had unpleasant memories. or maybe that is the only memorable landmark that can still be seen today from his life in Ireland

Is the word "Fuck" a common word used in Ireland? In the states, it would be inappropriate to use that word at a dedication.
